I found Grappel once at a Ross store here in Tampa , FL . Then I bought a few Grappel from a guy locally who was driving around buying them all up. Never saw a Windcharger though.

This makes me very happy that I resisted buying last year from SDCC. 20 bucks is an amazing deal. I really hope they come to the state.

I got mine HTS last year as well. didn't open it, but wouldn't mind getting another to fiddle with. The last time I was in Home Goods, I don't remember them selling toys though. But heck it's worth the look.

Despite the desire, I never did get one of these.
I'd snatch it up in a second for that price.

blaster has been sitting on the shelves here in this part of asia for a few months, it's even on sale. i'm surprised noone wants to snatch them up to be honest. the only reason i'm not picking one up is because i already the takara reissues.

Picked up 2 here in Kitchener, ON. Still 1 left at the store I was at, but didn't see any others. Makes great gifts for some TF Fans under that "$20 limit" that some people expect. :thumb

yeah once again hasbro proved itself to be an asshole, it rather sell these 'exclusives' to discount stores at a heavy loss than sell it to fans and regular customers at slight discount on HTS (the exclusives never get any discounts with coupon codes and don't qualify for free/discount shipping promos) and hot items like rts grapple and windcharger instantaneous sold out on HTS but showed up half off at discount stores.... Hope I find this at my local Marshall's eventually, $20 for a Blaster & 3 cassettes is a steal.

Interesting, in some ways this is not surprising. SDCC Soundwave was more popular than SDCC Blaster, so it's not surprising that Blaster did not sell as well. Maybe that is one of the reasons why we are not seeing a G1 reissue at SDCC this year? Who knows.

I got SDCC Blaster, and I still like him a lot. The toy is not as cool as Soundave, but the packaging is pretty awesome. No regrets here.

Make no mistake, they are not selling these at a loss. Do you know how much it costs to have one chinese child to put a Transformers together for sale? From mold to shelf, at cost one of these probably is around $5. The rest of your cash goes to the fatass executives at Hasbro and the like.

Just returned from Marshall's on Delaware Ave in Buffalo. Nothing. Did see a few leader class Starscreams for $25 though. They even had the ice cream truck twins, too.

But they are selling them for "less profit". Hasbro should try a little bit harder to tune into the fan community when these situations crop up. They certainly should have put a lot of these figures up on HTS. But, you never know if they used these figures for some kind of business reason with those retailers.
