Thats a way better idea, it would keep the hype all week long
Yes, I agree, you get everyone in early with Marvel Legends, then keep it going, all while using exclusives to nail people to Hasbro Pulse. Also would serve as free hype for the Haslab Sentinal and Second Vintage Collection Haslab.
I don’t think it would make a difference (or be more ideal) to put it on Hasbro Pulse to be honest as they’re both online presentations, just Comic Con is on a bigger scale.
The thing with Hasbro Pulse is that they conventionality only focus on the toys, and not other parts of the brand.
We have 20 days to go and Hasbro haven't revealed one exclusive.
That’s a lot of days to go though.
Virtual San Diego Comic-Con Will Be Almost All Prerecorded (Exclusive)
Not really surprised about this and it will help take some technical difficulties out of the equation.
I am guessing you have to pay to see any of this. Like going to the con. Very curious to see how this will work.

New Merch, Revealed
Wanted to put a little humor in something I said before.
Normally you'd reveal SDCC exclusives before SDCC because you're promoting your presence at the show and have items you want to sell there.
There is no "presence" this year, so nobody's at the show to buy things. So they could just reveal them during the show and put up the listings like they do every year anyway.
That said, there's a very good chance a few of the things that we've already seen leaked (or revealed) were the SDCC the exclusives until the COVID thing screwed everything up. (Ex: The numbered Gigawatts)
Just to bring it home...looking across their properties, we've seen a number of things:
1. Pimp Daddy Destro (GI Joe)
2. Psycho Ranger boxed set (Power Rangers)
3. Toxin (Marvel)
4. Numbered Gigawatt (Transformers)
So stuff is coming out, it's just being done differently.
Also Power Rangers has the spd omega ranger with uniforce cycle.
Quick note I just want to clear this up, because I have seen in many places/forums of people saying these would have been convention exclusives and it has caused some confusion.
These 4 were never going to be SDCC exclusives. 2 reasons why....
1. We knew mostly about them and how they were going be released way before COVID would had impacted them if they were going to be released via a different outlet.
2. How they are listed internally. When Hasbro makes something a convention exclusive they label it as such. They either include the Convention’s name that it belongs to or some thing generic in their solicitations, manifest and shipping cartons to signify it. They’ve been doing this for years and I doubt it would change now. Even if they re-solicited the exclusives to another outlet. Just take a look at all the would be Hascon exclusives last year.
Just an example of the 4 items you listed and how they show up internally compared to some Hasbro items that are going to be convention exclusives this year.
Not con exclusives:
PD Destro: GIJ CS Figure Gold Darkling
Psycho Ranger box set: PRG PET ICE Multipack
Toxin: MVL BAF Toxin variant
Walmart Gigawatt: TRA GEN Project Future Deluxe (it has the same name as the fan channel version but has a different EAN and product number)
Power rangers lc Lord Drakkon Evo 3: PRG PET CON Item
SW BL Global Con exclusive CW Cad Bane
SW Global Con Exclusive Clone Trooper pack
SW Global Con Exclusive Endor Heroes
Ya I had a gut feeling none of those were ever meant for SDCC in the first place.
Will there be another fan vote?
Will there be more BB movie characters from the intro?
Is there a Terminator crossover?
Is there a Gijoe crossover?
Please make Magna Convoy
Thanks, hoping you can watch some of those panels later... working that day.
So we're just getting a back to the future collaborative panel? No official panels for the transformers brand in general? I hope hasbro has something for hasbro pulse
SDCC has only released the programming schedule for Wednesday and Thursday of that week so far.
