Individually, they're basically cybertronian space ships of nondescript, though I suppose one could also make the case that they're spy satellites, maybe?

I've scene a rather cool fan mode though that has all three combined into one big space ship that looks a lot more impressive, almost to the point that one would assume it was originally intentional by design.

Too nice. He made me want the MP+, because I'm keeping my CW toys as the Datsuns in my collection.

I wish I could just buy the camera accessories. The retail release looks great the way it is and already has cartoon accuracy. The exclusive set has colors that look off to me, and the spaceship modes just look silly.

I do wish they had spent a couple extra bucks and given them new toy accurate heads.

I agree about the ships. I have no use for them in those modes. Actually, I had mostly withdrawn from this hobby until Siege appealed to my son and drew me back in. We now collect together, and we haven't put these toys into the ship mode yet. Probably won't.

they sorta look like targetmaster weapons, moreso than a spaceship anyways in alt mode...

Especially since the heads don't look to be easily removable and thus no 3rd party upgrade to the rescue :(

Just out of curiosity, I checked and they are super easy to get off. I used a small prying tool and it popped right off.

I would have given up all the accessories for toy accurate heads, I was sooooo expecting that new heads. Shocked that there was no change. The center guy would have sufficed.

i'm not surprised they didn't remold the heads as their big thing is to look virtually identical and the line leans way more towards the cartoon rather than the original toys...

would it have been a nice treat? Yeah sure it would have been...i guess if they ever repaint these guys into someone else (I cannot fathom who that would be though)...
