So if you don't mind the price hike and aren't willing to risk HTS you can grab the exclusives from TCP now. I picked up Thrawn as I'm sure he'll go quick on HTS and my fingers ain't nimble enough! If I do manage to pick one up on HTS I'm sure I'll be able to make my money back. The price increase is considerable (additional $20 - $30) but better than eBay prices

Thanks for this! Managed to snag the MTG set for my nephew.

For what it's worth, I tried using my 20% code from a recent Hasbro shipment, but it didn't accept it. I know in this thread or another one someone was saying those pack-in shipping codes can work on SDCC exclusives (which normally don't work with promotional codes). But for me, at least, in this instance that wasn't the case. YMMV of course, and maybe it might work for other exclusives? Who knows.

At least 30 minutes. Maybe closer to an hour.

 

If the Cobra missile command set was available I would have been pissed. So they broke the August 14th date.

Yep it doesn't help being stuck at work. My start time is 6am. Glad the Cobra set didn't go up. which is the only thing I am looking for aside from the Star Wars exclusives.

 

i got this e-mail:

Due to a technical issue, a few of our convention exclusive products went up for sales early this morning. Our records indicate that you purchased one or more of these items. We are writing to inform you that your convention product will ship on 8/14 as originally scheduled. Your order will be placed on hold until then. No further action is required. If your order included additional, non-convention products, we will be shipping those to you immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion."

i didn't think it would go through. otherwise i also would've picked up/tried to pick up the Marvel figs for a buddy, but i just happened to catch this thread at the end of my 20 minute post-run breakfast/kids are awake and calm/wait for wife to finish her run so i can shower and run to work morning free time, so my head wasn't 100% on.

at least i got the MTG set. i'm glad Thrawn, Missile Command and Revolutions weren't up (ones i really want).

Cool. Figured it was a glitch so it's good they honor it. Did you have to pay shipping on it? I remember in prior years the free shipping and other promotions didn't apply to convention exclusives.
