Either way it's bloody infuriating! Three hours I've been sat here refreshing every few minutes. What do they think is going to happen; that we're going to smurf their site for hours on end whilst waiting for the exclusives to go on sale? I'd wager almost all of us have the page(s) of the item we want open ready to buy and have largely ignored the rest of the website.

It's bad enough they don't post outside of America and Canada, that I have to use a re-shipping company, but then I have to waste half a day just refreshing a page? This is just madness. Tell people what date and time things will go on sale and go from there, is it really that hard Hasbro? Geez.

Yes. It will not

 

Coupon codes don't usually work for exclusives but you can try but then again that may waste precious seconds to get your order in.

 

That code they posted on the front page expired already, under terms it expired last night at midnight.

Yet on a test order... using that code got me free shipping on regular items.

Historically, convention exclusives NEVER get discounts.

 

It helps when... you DON'T frontpage this.   Some of us have marked our calendars since SDCC, but now every Joe Doke who happens upon the site can remember to buy!   Dangit!

Sigh... there's little chance I'll notice when these go up... they should really just give us an approximate time for the sale. This feels like a bad lottery. And if it's a lottery, why not make it a contest to buy (a la Takara's method for some of their exclusives)?

 

The fine print on the offer says that exclusives are excluded and they have been diligent about them not applying to the products in the past. You can try, but in all likelihood you'll be wasting time during checkout.

 

Someone earlier in the thread said that the coupons won't work, including COMIC2017, SHIPAUG17, and the one you get with the e-mail sign-up.

 

no discounts or free shipping on Exclusives. it's been like that for years now.

 

I wouldn't worry about trying to get your orders in this year, the sets are either overpriced or underwhelming. And the Star Wars exclusives that everyone wants aren't even being released until September

 

Argh all these updates are also killing me. And the worst part is people are asking questions that have been answered earlier this morning (coupons will not work). I really wish the very next update I get is from someone saying the orders are UP.
