The 2 Transformer exclusives are lame in my mind but the Joe set and the 2 Black series I my try for.

 

SDCC Titans Return Wingspan and Cloudraker 2 Pack.

 

I thought the Wingspan/Cloudraker was going to be a Walgreens exclusive.

 

Holy shot...is that all there is?? No 3.75" figures other than 3 repacks with some cardboard dio nonsense. Some lame Optimus repaints. Not even a SDCC Trypticon(I thought that was a given) This has to be the lamest SDCC in a while. Hopefully Hasbro is saving the goodies for Hascon!!

I'm kinda digging the 2 TF exclusives. If I didn't already have the TLK Voyager Prime, I'd probably get this one, but man MAAAAAN I like that Black/Gold Powermaster Prime.

 

My Birthday is on the 21st. I really don't need any presents, the only presents I like to get at my age now is news of revealed Transformers or something.

 

Yeah imma need that black and gold Prime, I have Magnus, I have Ginrai, and this is a great way to get the third variation of that Mold. Plus I have a thing for Gold and Black, and the skate stuff looks fun.

 

Anyone with experience of SDCC, how can I best try to get the black series figures? I'm hearing talk of needing to go.down the night before or like 6am and stalk out the sails pavilion?

I live 30 minutes away so I can be down early on but I really want that Thrawn set.

 

Honestly it's easier to either pay someone in line or risk HTS in my experience. It's way too much effort to get in line unless your insanely dedicated.

I don't even know which line to be in, lol. I was lucky with HTS last year, got both figures. I'll go down early Friday and see if I can get lucky.

Anyway so the MP10 rerelease is an SDCC exclusive, wonder if there will be anything different or be just like Bee was last year and be the standard release sold with something nobody wants

 

I'm 100% sure it's just an early sale thing. Looking at all the TRU and EE exclusives, it seems like their just early bird releases of retail products, like all their previous MP releases were available early at the con. I remember thinking the MP Soundwave TRU was an SDCC exclusive and standing in line for hours to get it, only to learn later it was retail :/

Also last I checked, to get in line you had to get a pass that gives you a time to stand in line, and to get that pass you have to stand in like at like 6 am or earlier before the passes run out. So yeah, ton of hassle

 

Yeah that's what I was seeing too. I missed out on the exclusive first order trooper and am happy about that as the base model is good enough for me. Got both exclusives last year and they were awesome. If I can't get the better detailed landspeeder and Luke's poncho and a bunch of artifacts for Thrawn the world will keep on turning, I'm not going through all that hassle though. No sir!

I thought that was odd too, especially since every set I remember from the original cartoon were sold like that.

As far as the comments regarding MP10, I agree would appear to be a open exclusive, even if TRU is selling it as a "Comic Convention Exclusives." For some reason, I thought some items never make it to retail and remained as online exclusives like HTS collectibles. Either way, just passing the info along here for those that may not know about them.

 

Interesting how there's no base/Titan and no GI Joe crossover set this year. Or at least announced yet.

I'd only be interested in those.
