Two notes:
1) Liokaiser is a "Platinum Edition" so expect a price hike.
2) Anybody else nervous the Tank/Jet they teased at Botcon wasn't Overlord...but rather this Megatron? Or is this a red herring and the real big news comes during whatever product panel may be happening today?

 

I say they don't bother with Bumblebee and make the whole case gnaw.

Megatron is utter rubbish. The mold barely fits him, and the it's horrendously under-painted. Will probably make a decent Blitzwing.

Brainstorm's single release looks alright, but I still prefer the Voyager. I just like the MTMTE style more. Besides, that is where I got my attachment to the character.

I really like that new Bumblebee. Much better than the last one. No cheating in the transformation, and a better painted robot.

Great to finally see the Sharkticon. Definitely gonna army build those.

I know nothing about Leokaiser, but his toy looks eh. Just a bunch of old molds with new head, and paint schemes that look G2.

Power Hero Starscream looks like an awesome Voyager scaled Starscream. Really hope to see more Seeker using this mold.

 

That Liokaiser looks God-awful. Seriously bad. Just bad.

 

Liokaiser....it's in Takara's court now. I like the individual deluxe bots, but I am not feeling Deathsaurus. As things stand now: I'm buying 2x Liokaiser, 1 to combine and the other to have the individual bots displayed minus Deathsaurus. Looks like I'm going to have to get Leozak off eBay now so I can have most of the bots out. Hopefully Takara does a new mld and makes Leozak the torso for theirs.

 

Interesting that Hasbro would even try to make a Liokaiser since that character doesn't go with their audience, but I'd understand if Takara did it. Not a fan of their interpretation anyhow since the characters aren't even right but I guess it's fun to see. I'd be ecstatic for a re-release of the original Liokaiser without the gold syndrome and a Deathsaurus as well.

 

The intersting thing is "Sawback" looking like Razorclaw but not sharing the name. Similar to "Clobber" being Grimlock's head and a dinosaur accessory but not getting the name.

Are they still planning a "Razorclaw" later on? Is it possible there's going to be some kind of actual Predaking combiner Sawback will attach as an accessory?

I haven't seen a Titanmaster pack in person to know how big the vehicle is, but wouldn't it be funny if Sawback's alternate mode can attach to a future Predaking to give him an accurate Lion chest?

 

God, that Voyager megatron... why does Hasbro seem so determined to steal my money?!? Galavtron, Sentinel Prime, Alpha Trion, this Megatron...

I really hope the G2 Voyager Optimus voyager looks really good, as I really want a Titans Return Optimus to go with Megatron.

Now if they'll only announce Nautica and a Beast Wars Version 1 Optimus Prime/Megatron set...

 

I'm just going to let you plenty of people here want that bumblebee (myself included) and most don't share your opinion. They're going to make plenty of money from these figures.

Liking everything TR seen here, the legends are both killer, the titan masters are cool and that voyager megatron looks like a good mould. I'd rather see it as Flywheels though, then him, Blitzwing and (fingers crossed) Overlord can all have their own moulds.
Brainstorm isn't news but nice to see him again.

Liokaiser isn't as bad as I feared, Hasbro clearly did all they realistically could with this set and it shows in the names and references. If Takara don't go nuts again it's a decent generations Liokaiser and won't break the bank.

Breakfast done, bring on the panels!
