Hope it's not too serious. :(  Hopefully she'll be better eventually.

As for the series itself I'm happy we'll be seeing some fan favourite BW characters along with some lesser known ones like Manta Ray and Sonar which I didn't expect. Hopefully we'll see the designs soon because I really want to see what they look like in IDW so much.

Let's skip the whole gender and toys debate for once, okay? It's well-trodden.

Now where the hell are the pics from this panel?!

That's only the case if you oprate said toys with the genitals.

In which case, said toy is not for children in the first place.

Really? Windblade Vol 2 is ending after 7 issues, half of which are really part of the Combiner Wars series? What's the point of bringing the series back at all then? I have no problem with the premise of Til All Are One, but Windblade was doing a good job focusing on a character as they struggle to integrate into Cybertron, that was a fantastic way of both serving classic fans wanting more Cybertron and being open to new fans at the same time. Weird choice.

I'm sorry they still haven't said anything about Sarah Stone, being ill is a bummer but they should still acknowledge her efforts and address the fans who want to know what happened. I wasn't entirely sold on her style, but it had a lot more life and depth than the new look currently has.

According to TFormers, the BW characters appearing in Windblade soon include Tigatron, Airazor, Cheetor, Dinobot, Manta Ray, and Sonar.

EDIT: Whoops, didn't see that this'd already been said.

Most children already reinforce them. While there are gender neutral toys, most (but not all, obviously) will be interested in toys aimed towards their gender and show little interest in toys aimed at the other gender.

Dresses, make-up and giving birth are some things that women do, so girls are more likely to gravitate towards toys that are related to those (giving birth = playing at being a mother, I wouldn't expect a boy to want to play at being a mother).

I don't care for the "gender to make people relate to them" bit. I have no problem with fembots, but it sounds like the writers were afraid people couldn't relate to them without gender. I can relate to male or female, human or nonhuman, provided the characters are well written. Not been a fan of Drift or Windblade, but maybe some of the others will be interesting.

Many sides, but only two colors. :lol

Everything sounds great sept for a few minor things. Chromia/Ironhide for one just doesn't work what with the direction Scott took Chromia. And I like Strongarm, but I'd rather RID characters exist for RID and IDW characters exist for IDW. We don't need the same character in two series.

Cool, kind of sad Windblade is ending but the new comic sounds great as well. This whole panel was such a positive sign from Hasbro I'm really impressed.
