Yikes... I'm glad I got the Iron Factory one...
Since they aren't revealing much here after revealing nothing at BotCon, it could definitely be a sign that things aren't going well for this series. I can't really understand what else they would be waiting for.
They couldn't even get Windblade's face right?/.
And meanwhile Takara takes the time to remold Grimlock and make a brand new Optimus mold with a remold down the road.
More like $24 for the Iron Factory one vs Hasbro's $6 - $7 one. Not sure where on earth you're getting $60 from.
You get what you pay for, though. My Windblade doesn't look like a cheap POS.
admittedly, this thought did cross my mind earlier. maybe grandpa hasbro is getting senile in his old age.
yup. i was really ambitious, hoping that maybe that grimlock would be revealed as getting a US release today... but nope. barely remolded scattorshot and not even any rid deluxes.
Da fuq is dis shit????
This. And where the hell is Warrior Thunderhoof? And Quilfire?
I know it's basically a whole other tier of, uh, "toy", but DX9 and Iron Factory's small figures puts these Legions to shame. Heck, older official Legions put these to shame.
*Clicks link and sees Legion Windblade* having trouble breathing.
What happened to you?
I'll pick up Thunderhoof, but I won't be spending any money on that Windblade or Drift.
RiD Legions have been disappointing from the start. I was a big Cyberverse enthusiast, but these lack accessories, appear smaller, and otherwise fail to stand out.
The only one that kind of tempts me is Ultra Magnus, because I have a distinct weakness for baffling Optimus-into-Magnus reuses.
Good gravy, RiD's just... just not doing good on ANY level.
I mean damn, these are Legion figures:
I don't even have words for what Windblade is.
And of course week after week the show itself has cool shit like mad scientist snake-trains, spider combiners, and whatever the heck Ped is supposed to be; yet the toyline is content doing the bare minimum. Meh.
Something tells me that these are just prototypes. They're all missing the usual scan stickers and have 0 paint.
If it is final, at least Thunderhoof looks good.
Something to keep in mind: All the con toys so far have been members of Steeljaw's pack. So there's some hope for Clampdown I guess. But there is zero chance that most of those decepticons are getting toys other than tiny titans.
No amount of paint can save Windblade's mold.
No Warriors? SDCC disappoint me this year.
