I noticed a lot of people complaining about crushed boxes and such. I have shopped with HTS for 3 years now and never once have I gotten a bad box. TRU on the other hand I can't for the life of me get something in good condition. I think with HTS it really has to do with who your fedex guy is that day and who is having a bad day at the fedex packing facility.

 

Not entirely true. Just a few days before receiving my SDCC orders, I got an order of Rattrap and Tankor from them that was literally jammed inside the box to fit. The box was the length of one deluxe card. If you lay one deluxe on its back and flip the second over such that the bubbles are top to bottom and sandwiched between the backing cards, you can see how the two together are longer. The packer smashed both figures together to decrease the length (smashing in the tops of both bubbles into each other). It still wasn't quite small enough so the shipping box was also bent out-of-shape as well. If I were a MISB collector I would have been livid.

 

Regarding toy packaging condition, I've had very good luck with the SDCC exclusives from HTS as none of them have ever had any damage over the years. Even the massive Metroplex box from last year was in great shape. Of course, I've probably just jinxed myself for the years to come.  

With normal orders, however, it's a different story. It's pretty much hit-or-miss. I had one order back when the second wave of Generations Data Discs were new that was completely destroyed. Toy packaging ripped, the card bubbles were shattered, and the outer mailing box was pristine. Not one item in the order was salvageable. I chalked it up to someone's last day at HTS and he was going out with a bang. Thankfully, everything was taken care of by customer service.

I've also had items crammed into a box that was way undersized, usually deluxes, much like RubberChicken stated above.

Overall, though, with HTS, I would say that the number of good experiences far outweigh the bad, but when they mess up, it's usually pretty bad.

Speaking of TRU, I just got the MPs in the mail. Sunstorm was okay, but Prowl's box was totally crushed.   Hoping I can do an exchange at TRU, if they even have him in yet.

Not sure if they're gearing up for something, but they put the Dinobots set and the Kre-O set back up with the "Out of Stock" tag.

Wow I wanted that thanos set too! Weird timing on the restock. I can't believe they haven't sold out yet.

 

That was the most excitement I ever had filling in credit card information...I really should set up an account...oh, ordered the Kre-o set...hopefully there are still some left by the time they go to ship it.
