Yes, there was a micro restock...

Just long enough for one member to get a set, and me to get one in my cart, but unable to complete checkout.

That said, they just pulled the listings down.

 

Typically when they pull them they are gone for good. At least that is one thing that HTS has kept consistent.

 

Did they ever restock the MTG set?

 

I had a cardboard box of toys by an open window during the rain once and the side of it got totally soaked. I thought for sure the inside would be wet but no water got inside of it. I never knew cardboard box technology had progressed to this point.

 

Before they hit HTS.. the going rate was $88-95+ shipping for a good auction. BIN was mostly about $120.

Now, they average about $100-105+shipping.. tho a handful have still slipped through at $90-93+shipping

So $100 shipped is still about the best you can do.. with $115 or so shipped more realistic.

 

yeah thats what i was noticing too, i'd wait even longer but i'm too impatient, i see a lot of BIN prices going even higher too. I'm sure once everyone that wants one gets one they may come down again.

 

Damn, well at least I can stop watching the site now. One of these years I will collect some of that obscene MTG nerd money. lol.

 

Over on the MTG forums, a few guys managed to get a set today. Did anybody get the kreo set. That was the only one I wanted.

 

Nope... was looking for the Jabba, Anyone here manage to get that? thought the restocks would last a lil longer.

 

yeah really strange, last year I got all my stuff when they restocked. This year I didnt even get to see it, and I was monitoring the site all day.

 

Well, in fairness, I guess they did last a bit longer on the initial launch this year than last year, so maybe that was with intent. More accurate count upfront (which delayed us into the following week) then less on the restock and only those orders that were cancelled.

I am giving HTS WAY more credit than they deserve, right?

There was a restock - apparently on all items, though I was only watching the kreons.

People bought the Dinobot sets, I almost got a Kreon set (for my second attempt) but failed, people did see the MTG set too apparently.

All of these things were up for only a a handful of seconds at a time - less than a minute for sure. I had my kreon set at checkout within 30 seconds of it showing up (check4changes plugin), and I still missed it.

EDIT: The item restock started at 9:50-ish for certain items, I saw my item at 10:10-ish. No other restock was seen after that, and now the item listings are down.

 

You're probably right, but I wouldn't be so sure. I had my alarms on all day, and apparently one member picked up a set as 9:52, my alarm didn't go off until 10:10. As far as I can tell, some items disappeared completely in a 20 second window (which is freaking nuts). So if you factor in a hiccup on reloading an a 10 second interval, you might not have seen an alarm.

 

Oops accidently deleted my previous post. Yeah just nuts this year. Hopefully the Thanos set will still restock since they haven't taken it down yet.

 

yea, my c4c was set for 30 seconds, and I didnt hear a peep on the kreon or the mtg. I never thought it would go out in under 30s
