I wanted this set until I saw that black & gray 5-pack at BBTS. I'm going for that instead.

 

I hit this point a couple years ago and over the following time span have managed to completely stop collecting. And we're talking a MASSIVE collecting habit. (Well, massive by regular standards. I know some guys who seemingly have limitless funds and buy everything.) I buy my kids some stuff here and there, but usually only at a discount of some kind. They wanted the SDCC Kreo set, but at this point I told them what the situation is and they have said that they don't want it anymore since their Dad would have to sit on the computer like a chump for days on end or resort to paying after market prices for it. I like my kids. Smart guys.

It's up to each collector to decide for themselves when enough is enough and if the hobby is fun for them anymore, but it pains me to see Hasbro and companies like them treat their CUSTOMERS like this and think that it's no big deal. And to see people continue to put up with it and some even defend Hasbro... welcome to the modern world.

 

At this point I'm just really sad. :/

Think I'm calling it quits for good. More I think about it less I want to spend what they are asking for the 2 tf sets. Since I only have masterpiece figures now anyways I'll just per order mp-21 and mp-22. Also keep my eye out for the us sunstorm.

I honestly feel bad for you guys. It's BS that you guys stood here all week for nothing.

HTS really should get their act together. Why is it so hard to say, these will go live on Monday August 4th at 9A and then do everything in their power to get it done by that time.

And if it doesn't happen by then, then make another announcement saying, there has been a delay to August 7th.

Me thinks this is revenge for the "Hasblow" statements.

I think it more or less stems from the fact that they know they will still sell this shit regardless of how ham-handed they handle the release on their website.

 

I agree!, even if they didn't say the damn time and just gave the day...many of us would have done more with their time then just waste it...I'm lucky enough I work in front of a computer all day, but many of you give up your entire plans for HTS to screw it all up...if HTS or Hasbro said, "SDCC will be up on Monday or Wed or whatever, then some can take the day off or just have an idea...THEN we have a reason to sit in front of your computers all day...and then its on us, if we walk away to take a leak, eat, let our dogs our, spy on the neighbors...whatever, but at least we can plan better...HTS...SUCK IT!!!

 

At this point, who knows? It seems unlikely, but it also seemed unlikely that we'd get to Friday and not have them posted already.

Just got home from work and can't believe they still haven't put their stuff up. I see a lot of folks are saying they're out, and maybe if HTS sales are slower now because they waited so long, they'll possibly learn from this.

it costs about 200 from HTS including tax for the knights set.. and about 20 to ship so 220... ebay has it around 240 or 20 bucks more..


same goes for the dino set.. I mean I aint rich but that would save me a ton of time (figure your hourly rate and time that you spent here)

OH COME ON. I've had Rattrap in my basket, saved, all day waiting for the exclusive to add & buy. Apparently Rattrap is sold out because THEY REMOVED HIM. Actually would have been a good price as long as I was paying for shipping anyway!
