I was all prepared to get him and saw that TRU themselves said 9am EST on the 18th. Wake up well before that to find it sold out. That is fucking low.

 

Does anyone know for a fact that 1:00 p.m. Eastern is their cutoff for putting these up? Seems arbitrary and unlikely... but I'm pretty sick of this shit at this point and would like to call it quits (and go get some lunch and do some more work).

I think something is indeed happening with the lawsuit.

Lawsuit information comes out this morning, then, in a never before seen move, the crossover set ends up getting sold somewhere else. Too much of a coincidence. Perhaps Hasbro can back out of the club orders easier than at HTS if they have to. They also may have had it coded for the crossover to go up on the website with something else, and now they're re-doing the code without the crossover.

These are all complete guesses, but there is tiny chance this could be the truth. Think about it; Hasbro was sued this morning regarding a product they likely meant to sell in mass quantities a few hours later. I'm sure there were many discussions (possibly panic) at Hasbro regarding what to do with the crossover set a this point. Likely holding everything else up.

Let's put Harmony Gold right up there with Toys R Us and Hasbro for reaching out and helping the consumer.

 

Just the latest they've been posted before. It's likely the latest they'll go, but making assumptions with them seems unsafe. I'd say the only real safe assumption would be they'd cut off at normal closing time, either 5 or 6 pm.
