Kind of an underwhelming Con, at least from the perspective of someone who didn't go

Botcon is just to close to comic con this year, they didn't have time to come up with anything new

Disappointed that Hasbro didn't bring any new lightsabers to the FX line. :(

News about why they didn't show Generations Jazz etc.

I went to the Con and on the last day I lined up on the Hasbro Toyshop line to get Blaster. The guy at the head of the line directing traffic looked a lot like the toy designer for Generations Deluxes. I gave it a shot and asked if he was who I thought he was and he said yes!

After giving him props for IMO the best line of modern TF toys, I asked why they didn't show Jazz. He told me that they only wanted to show 2010 products and not get ahead of themselves since the audience at Comic Con is less hardcore about upcoming toys than an audience at Botcon would be.

I wanted to dispute that point but it was my turn to go buy Blaster so I just thanked him and went on my way.
