Obviously. there are the combining (Devastator set) and the non combinining individuals (Demolisher/Scavenger, Scrapper, Mixmaster, Longhaul, Rampage and Hightower) Scrapper was seen as an individual bot, Hightower is rumored to be seen in robot mode too. I'm guessing Scrapper and Hightower are Voyagers.
I hope to god they do. Scrapper has one of the best designs, and Hightower is a crane dinosaur. That, of course, is awesome.
Hasbro said we won't get all the Constructicons as individual figures. And I think S250 said Hightower is one of those. If you look at his Legends figure, its kind of obvious. That's not to say I don't want a full blown Hightower figure though, weird-ass designs FTW. I can bet we'll see a Scrapper toy at least. Overload I'm not so sure about though.
Wait, at the Toy Fair where we first saw the combined Devastator set, weren't there also all the individual Constructicons on display?
I'd buy a Hightower on sight, because he along with Mixmaster, Long Haul, and Rampage are the only Constructicons I honestly want individually(Demolishor's toy is kinda meh in person, Scrapper just looks to simple and humanoid to me, and I still don't know the deal with Overload). The EZ/Legends Devestator set is still a must for me, though.
No, only a couple of them. The rest were the individual pieces to the Devastator set in vehicle mode.
I hope we get Hightower, I really like his design. Dunno that we're getting Scrapper either. And odds are really high we won't be getting Scavenger.
I could at least see Scavenger as part of an exclusive two pack paired with somebody else more attractive. But yeah, I really don't think we'll see him as a straight up repaint of Demolishor in the main-line because of how similar the two are.
What was that Walmart computer listing of a " Red Bulldozer?" Is that the guy that Bumblebee fights in the trailer or could it be Overload?
Overload is an articulated dump truck. I'd put my money on a repaint of Rampage to reflect the red version of him we see in the film like you mentioned.
I would imagine we will see most if not all of the Constructicons in some form. I think it is purely a limit on the number of Voyager Class toys Hasbro can put out that might hold them back. Especially if you consider that Hasbro wants to keep a selection of different designs in that size class - to do even five out of the seven designs as Voyagers would be a bit much. Personally I am impressed we have already got three of them as Voyagers. Scrapper I can see as a Deluxe, though. I'm guessing he'll be in 2010, purely so Rampage can move off the shelves so there aren't two similar designs competing.
That sucks. I was hoping we'd see a Devastator we could build out of our figures. Now, I'm not sure what to do. Buy the Legends Devastator, or the Ultimate? (I'll most likely go with the Ultimate and heavily detail and modify him to at least look good, if nothing else.) The Legends set is neat considering it transforms completely, but they're all so...simplified and a lot of the oomph is missing. Crap. Hasbro really kinda screwed us on this one. Granted, they probably weren't even sure if it was six or seven Constructicons, but wow.
I'm really hoping that we do see Hightower and Scrapper eventually. Then again, I'm still waiting for animated Constructicons...
Wait what!? What kind of Bullshit is this? We aren't getting figures of some characters featured in the god damn film?! When did they announce this.
Well, truth be told, as we've seen in the trailers, Demolishor is white with red detailing while the toy is red with white detailing. This seems to be telling me that the Demolishor toy is in Scavenger's paintjob. When Hasbro said that only most of the constructicons are getting toys, I hope they just meant that we won't be getting all the different palette-swaps that we'll be seeing in the move. We can always hope that it really meant "Red Dump Truck"
