Slight fix. But yeah, that'd be the PERFECT repaint for Scourge. I remember finding myself wondering as I read the Last Stand of the Wreckers if Macabre was related to him .
No,it's way too much of a OBSECURE character. I don't mind obsecure characters getting new molds or repaints. as long as their not EXTREMLY OUTFIELD OBSECURE characters.
You might be right. However, if the toy looks cool enough, and if the Scourge mould is well received, kids will want it. I've never heard of there ever being a Transformers Tomahawk, and I still bought one because he looks cool. Same goes for a few other obscure-to-me characters made into toy forms. How many Ratchets, Megatrons, BB's, and other main-stream characters are kids going to buy over and over again. Some variety and fresh characters keeps things interesting.
That's what I was thinking too. There aren't many overt "big name" characters that come to mind that can be repainted from Scourge other than the Sweeps (who'd need new heads anyways), so if it's an obscure character and the toy still rocks, or is even an improvement, hey great. Go for it.
We've got a Straxus toy now. The field has been opened for these obscure characters. However, I feel the Wreckers (Impactor, Mostly) have a far higher chance of getting toys. I'd love to see this guy realeased alongside an Impactor. It'd be perfect

Macabre has been in two of the greatest Transformers comics ever. He nearly assasinated a high-ranking Autobot council member in Target: 2006 and led the Wreckers' Decepticon opposites in LSOTW. If you don't know who he is you only have yourself to blame.
I'm not into him totally. But then again, I will bite when I see a NEW figure that has been retooled or spotting a new head sculpt.

Yes, I already suggested a Macabre repaint in another thread - if they're going to repaint stuff it might as well have a semi fitting name.
Speaking of obscure characters, I was horsing around tf.wiki & chanced upon Ultra Trion. Now I'm hoping he gets a toy!
