Scorn, let's get to know him!

    I wanted to start here on reddit and move on to TWF2005, Seibertron and Allspark boards and try Facebook Transformers page to try and get a pretty cool thing going for Scorn!

    Here is my idea; the Dinobots were introduced early in Generation 1 Season 1 and created by Autobots Ratchet and Wheeljack. This is what I'd like to do, I want to try and create a contest with a prize for 2 winners. A winner for the best G1 design and a winner for the best G1 back story.

    The only criteria being that Scorn was made by Ratchet and Wheeljack and that he remains a Spinosaurus with only 1 fin on his back.

    For the the two winners the prize right now, which I would provide if we can get this off the ground is a Deluxe Scorn figure that I will ship to each winner. If this can get big enough and I can find someone who does custom paint, I'll provide the figures to whomever can do a custom G1 paint job.

    This is a tall order and I need all the help I can get, I'm a huge Transformers fan and Dinobot fan who grew up in the Generation 1 era and I for am excited to have an official character added to the on going Transformers continuation.

    I'd rather Scorn not be made by Ratchet and Wheeljack.

    Why couldn't he be a regular Autobot who scaned his spinosaurus alt. mode.

    Scorn was a "Lost" Dinobot Wheeljack and Ratchet partially made in the twenty years between season 2 of the cartoon and the 1986 movie. He was in the weaponization stage of development when the battle of Autobot city occurred. The Seacons raided Wheeljack's Lab while he was attending to other matters. Wheeljack returned to find six angry Decepticons tearing up his lab. Knowing full-well that the Decepticons could very easily win any battle with tech secured from his lab, Wheeljack Triggered a Detonator hidden in one of his inventions (one of the few that were purposefully rigged to blow) causing a chain reaction obliterating the Combiner team, his lab, and leaving the Autobot inventor mortally wounded. He was later found dead alongside Windcharger by Arcee, Hot Rod, Daniel, Kup, and Springer in their attempt to hold back the brunt of The Decepticon invasion with a missile battery.
    Scorn was lost in the explosion at Wheeljack's Lab, having never seen active combat like his Dinobot brethren.
