I started this because I don't like the hole you see in Scorn's forearm when you have Him in his robot mode. My 1st attempt looked pretty bad, but it was done with scrap styrene I had in my part bin. So I started over and had the idea of doing half a Gatling gun or 4 barrel grenade launcher poking out. I also noticed that I can plug a MG Gundam beam saber into the barrel to give it a nice laser effect I liked this version a lot only problem I had was no good alt mode storage. The current version I'm working on I got the alt mode storage work and a spinning Gatling gun (still not sure why I made it spin). My original intent was to have it store under scorn in alt-mode but I think it looked a bit lewd. So looked for another place to mount it. I found that I can plug it in to the spine area on Scorn among other places. I know it's not that much of a change, but it fills a hole I hated.
Looks clever, it's a shame about beast mode storage. Peaugh has a pretty clever trick for the hole in bot mode - you might check out his review.
Nice gun. I was thinking about giving him a proper shield for that arm to go with the whole jousting theme, but a gun is always cool.
Cool idea. Though with me, I don't even bother with the hand set up. I just pull a Beast Wars Megatron and just leave it as a dino arm.
Thanks for all the kind words. The shield idea sounds neat. I was thinking about some of the shield designs from the dark souls series would look cool with these AOE Dinobots.
