Congrats!!! I love the choices there! The coppery metallic, middle row first on the left and the two blues on the bottom row are my faves from what I can see!!

couldn't find these for shit. they are the toughest base coating and detail paints I've ever met.

luckily was pointed to this also:

    House of Korlor Kustom Kolors

I think there are still some of those at my local hobby shop. We have a real quality hobby shop in town, a true mom and pop deal.

They have been around for over thirty years! The owner still remembers me from when I was 8-9 years old! He says he's seen tons of kids grow up through the store and always has some great tip to offer!

Half the tricks I know are a version of what he's told me through the years! He can build some serious train models and dioramas!

Anyhoo, I'm drifting down memory lane, if he's got some House of Kolor I'll pick some up on your recommendation.:thumbs2:

you can spray this shit through an air brush onto plastic without even cleaning it and you can dig your nail into it and it won't move.

few minutes to dry, and you can pour paint thinner washes on it and nothing happens to the paint or it's finish.

I am bidding on the second set of paints that the guy has up, seems to put up quite a few sets looking at his feedback; needless to say, please don't bid on it, please.

Wow what a bargain. I got a load that was even more awesomer though. A van load of 1-litre pots of car paint for £5. Takes up so much space i have to store it elseware. Figured it would be worth trying and would go well with my acrylics and enamels.

I hate you. I love these paints. Been using them since the beginning!!! Well, when I started at least.

I use automotive paints. Some times. Now that is the toughest base coat!!!

Cant go wrong for so little coinage can ya? It was recommended to me, ive had very limited experiance with the stuff in the past but i was told its better than most hobby paint and well...with the lack of hobby shops around here and an even bigger lack of any variety in hobby paint i figured why not? I can go anywhere 10 minutes away from me and get any color i want in car paint form that same day, whereas if i want the same in hobby paint i either cant get it or have to order online and wait gawd knows how long for the postie to deliver it. I thought buying a huge load of the stuff would save me a few trips to the car paint shop hehe.
Thats what i was told. So far the couple of toys ive used car paint on have given the toughest finishes ive ever got, still want to use it a bit more though before i swear by it.

Ahh, I only knew 1 guy who used to use car paint, he sword by it, said it was the best around. Though, I am skeptical how it adheres to plastic, seeing it's made for fiberglass and or metals. I know there are many types of car paints too, but I'm not really into rebuilding cars/autobody, are you?

Ive dabbled in the past, nothing major though. Based on everything ive been told and the BB i painted and a bit of common sense this car paint should be perfect for plastic toys as far as adhesion goes because i figure cars these days have so many painted plastic parts and i dont see paint chipping and falling off them so they must be good for plastics. I'll paint a few more toys with it and see what happens.
