Hey, guys! Warner Bros. has revealed release dates for several straight-to-DVD animated movies for 2020 and beyond, and one of them will be a Scooby-Doo crossover with Cartoon Network’s Courage the Cowardly Dog! This movie is set to be released in 2021.

Two New Scooby-Doo Films Announced for 2020 and 2021

Also, please check out Turner Classic Movies’ website for more details on future releases!

A while back there was a tumblr post going around about how Courage would defeat Scooby if they were pitted against each other, so meta?

From the article, this is coming from a TCM listing. I've never heard of the site. What is TCM and why is it considered reliable? I can't find any other source for this news from a few quick searches.

    I don't know. Just a guess.

Oh, yes. TCM = Turner Classic Movies, which is owned by WarnerMedia. So I’m positive it’s a reliable source.

This is a crossover that actually makes a lot of sense, and considering the amount of crossovers Scooby Doo has been involved with, I’m surprised it hasn’t happened already.

Something tells me Warner Bros. wants to revitalize Courage the Cowardly Dog in the future.

I would bet on it. I think we are about to enter a new age of nostalgic reboots.

And now Courage. What other beloved WB-related but no longer relevant cartoons can Scooby team up with?

Did they finally find the missing footage?

I hope this special is as good as the Brave and the Bold and Supernatural crossover and less...ugh....Return to Zombie Island or 13th Ghost.

After forcing the writers to make the ghosts fake in 13 ghosts after they have the script locked down and the fake zombies in return to zombie island wb clearly hates real ghosts in scooby so guess it's going to be reviewed that the ghosts in courage are fake also right?

It's got me more scared then excited.

To be honest these two work so good together, although I haven't thought of a crossover until now.

I really hope the animation style will be done by Stretch Films, Inc, the studio that animated Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Two cowardly dogs meeting each other. Well, Courage has the creepier villains.

I hope their distinct animation styles don't clash (in a bad way).

Cautiously optimistic. If they get the creator of Courage involved this could be good.

I have the distinct feeling making the ghosts fake constantly is almost ENTIRELY due to pandering to the Chinese market. Because the Chinese REALLY do not like ghosts.
