I haven't seen it come up elsewhere, but Tom scioli posted that the tf vs gi Joe movie adaptation (of a nonexistent movie) is due out in March: Twitter

    Cant wait!

I've never heard of this. It feels great to actually look forward to a Transformers comic again. Even if it's only one issue. I'll take whatever I can get.

Scioli hinted that he had 'a surprise' coming in one interview when he finished off the series, and has been putting some process shots on his Twitter, but yeah, it's been pretty under the radar! Wonder If it will be included in the collected edition?

I hope so, since I already have that pre-ordered... :D

I've bought this series so many times... I'll have the Quintessential Collection when it hits this April, I've already got the TPBs, I have issues #6-9 in single issue form, and I've got the entire series in digital format from iBooks on my iPad as well. The most satisfying TF comic story I've read since Furman's Marvel UK run ended and Generation 2.

Part of me wanted Scioli's comic to last forever, and another part of me is glad it ended while it was still great, never once letting me down. But I'm really glad we have at least one little bit more to look forward to.

Ha, same here: I think I actually prefer the single issues when reading it through. And yeah, it was everything I was looking for in a new tf comic really - drawing on concepts and characters, but not being beholden to repeating past approaches/continuity etc.

Cool, I'm actually good with that; hopefully that 'frees up' room for more bonus material in the collection! I'd love to see some of the earlier drafts of issues; I loved some of the drawings we did get to see from them (like the one of Slag, or Duke's last flight from issue 1.
