It's pretty clear from the pictures I've seen, (i.e. http://tfkenkon.com/collection/part2/act39/index.php ) that there's an SCF Hot Rod and an SCF Rodimus Prime, and they are about 95% identical.

I've been on a real Hot Rod / Rodimus kick lately, but is it even worth it to get both or either of these?

I'd say so, but I'm kinda biased. :D  I think Image Anime has one of them for really cheap; at $15 or less they're worth it. Poseable, show accurate statues.

The most signficant difference comes in the accessories you get with both of them.

Hot Rod comes with a different head with the green visor from the Mountaintop scene in Transformers the Movie. He also comes with a variety of open and closed hands, and a buzzsaw hand.

Rodimus Prime comes with the matrix, a gun, and a couple of different hands.

In hand, Rodimus feels and looks taller and leaner than Hot Rod. Both are excellent if you're a cartoon accurate collector.

Rodimus Convoy and Hot Rod are different molds, their designs are very similar but there are subtle differences. For example the legs are completely different, the chests have a slightly different shape to them, etc, etc.

thats the choro-q penny racer rodimus. they made one of prime and megatron too. I think theyre some of the best non-mainline transformers out there.

they transform and the have pullback action!

Yea, I'm selling the Rodimus and really hate maybe having to part with him. He;s a great little guy.
