To me, AOE personally felt a bit too long. That didn't change how much I liked it personally, but there were some things that I think could've been taken out.

- Attinger's scene with the President's Chief of Staff

- The long, drawn out scene on the wires and the wolves (which didn't do much)

- Tucci's elevator scene

Anyone else have any scenes that they think would've been better left out?

 

Entire magnet sequence.

Pretty much every single chase scene.

 

The "necessities" scene

 

When Joshua dropped the f bomb...it was a step up from the previous films and the main thing I hated about the movie.

 

none, the wire seen was a little weird to me, but I wouldn't cut it

 

All of these plus the Cade fight with CIA dude on the building.

 

Almost everything in the Chinese apartment building, and about half of the scenes of Wahlberg and Lucky Charms snarling at each other.

 

Frankly, the chinese battle could be trimmed. The magnet ship thing could be skipped, the chases could be trimmed. The explosions could be trimmed.

While I liked the movie, it was just too much cake. I left with a headache, and Im REALLY into that stuff.

 

The elevator scene was easily the most pointless scene. And while it was some nice eye-candy the magnet-ship probably should've been cut out. Before that scene you had already gotten enough robot action that you really didn't need that scene.

Tucci was my favorite part of the movie, so while that elevator scene was like 30 minutes long i'd hate to see it go.

and BTW, all asians know karate.

 

I think the entire dinobot idea should be taken out of this movie. They were poorly used and I an extremely disappointed in Bay.

 

Bee scan through stinger so that he could turn into an exact copy of him later and a scene where Bee meet Stinger face to face and they both charge into a fight

 

The elevator fight, many of the car chases. A lot of the opening scenes with the Yeager family, etc.

 

There's _so_ much that could be left out. Not necessarily full scenes, but there's more than enough that could be trimmed. I feel like the best movie of the franchise really is in there somewhere, it's just buried under so much useless material. If any movie in series would truly benefit from a fanedit, it's this one.

Something that hasn't really gotten any attention...the scene where Bumblebee and Drift are fighting. WTF? Optimus doesn't even lift a finger. I think I could also do with a whole lot less goofy nonsense when Bumblebee is getting all pissed over being called "obsolete."

 

You have to accept "A Measuring Contest" in a Bay film, so that's why those scenes were in there.

 

Actually, Megan Fox in TF2 says the exact following words when sam gets blown off by Megatrons gun "FUCKING DO SOMETHING". This is what she says to josh Duhamel

 

Dinobots really. They'd deserve a movie focused on them where they could talk and Actually be named. They were so obviously shoehorned in to attract audiences.
