Any scenes that struck an emotional chord?

For me...

* Scene where Drift says, "No, that's Optimus Prime".
* Cade trying desperately to save his daughter but hits the ground when he loses it (kinda glad they spent some time establishing the characters because you eventually feel the weight of their connection)
* Lucas dying (even though he sold out) and human characters shock
* Cade getting teary as Prime leaves
* Ratchet with only one leg while begging for his life
* Spec Ops guys threatening to kill Tessa (angry emotion)

 

Only second and third.

 

This one. Definitely this one.

 

When Prime created his new Autobot insignia when reformatting, with the original sound. I actually let out a loud "ha/yeah" hybrid that got a few chuckles from the crowd.

 

Anytime Optimus calmly spoke on screen. Cullen's voice is just so comforting and intense at the same time it's hard not to enjoy it.

 

I thought you meant like a nerdgasm boner when you said "rise"

All of the above, and adding the part where the remaining Autobots find out about Leadfoot and Ratchet's deaths ... along with the part where Optimus finds out what they were doing to Ratchet's head. I have never seen him that mad! Not in ALL franchises of the Transformers universe!

Lockdown's entrance in China. *shoots stuff, lands on it, and rides it all the way* So sick, reminded me of Starscream's slow motion entrance in Mission City in the First Bayformer.

When prime learned of ratchets demise. And also Lucas dying, he was the first character of his kind that I actually liked, and what's worse was he got such a gruesome death, I know he sold prime out, but he wasn't just doing it for himself, he seemed genuinely concerned about Cade and Tessa, and really wanted to get that money to help with Tessa's college. Tj miller can't catch a break in alien movies

 

I found Lucas annoying, and I'm a horrible person for saying this, but his death felt so satisfying for me LOL

 

That was worse than the Attack Of the Shuttle in 86.
Heartbreaking.

Hah, me too.

For me it'd have to be the death of Ratchet. So painful and gut-wrenching to watch.

 

Only third, mostly from shock value. Though his death was slightly justified being a comedic relief character and selling out Prime to the KSI members.

 

Optimus shooting at the legs of the KSI people. That's some "Fuck with us, we're gonna fuck with you hard." stuff right there.

 

I gotta admit I got teary eyed when ratchet refused to reveal primes location. A true autobot. Definetly takes the place of saddest transformers film death for me.

 

The entire first half of the film.

Everything else considered of a bunch of "hell yeah!"s, a bunch of "WOOO"s and me waiting for Optimus to say "Give me your face!".

 

-That moment when it pans into Prime hiding in the barn and he decides to help the family
-Autobot introduction
-Anything Ratchet related
-Everything the Op said
-That fact that Bee had been the "leader" in Prime's absence
-Prime referencing that Bee used to not listen
-Autobots infiltrating KSI
-Grimlock going to Dino mode for the first time
-Bee fighting Lockdown trying his best to protect his leader and friend.
-More that I'm probably forgetting.
