Pretty much yes demolishers current voyager robot mode is pretty much scavangers modes. Demolisher is actully sort of grey and a little bit of red. The only thing missing to make demolisher's toy exactly like scavanger is some more red and his scavanger insigna.
I don't think they're lazy - they just can't keep track of the characters from their own movie. Names have changed and been swapped so many times, it feels like the people in charge don't even know what they're doing.
Yes, because they are the SAME GUY. People keep thinking they are different characters, but seriously, why have two bots with the exact same alt-mode, robot mode that are both Constrcuticons and do the same thing? Seems dumb to me.
the same reason they have about a thousand jets with the same robot mode in g1 i suppose. easy to redeco and sell the same mould over and over, and easier to draw/design and animate.
It's a bit odd though, I can understand a bunch of normal-sized rank and file soldiers like the Seekers being clone-like in appearance, but not a huge giant like Demolisher.
if scavenger is not demolisher/demolishor however you spell it, then I don't think we will see his robot mode. He will just form.
Demolishor is the Red/mostly white RH-400, and so is Scavenger, except all/mostly red. But they had better make Scavenger form a Robot mode too. I think it would be silly to introduce any type of constructicon that forms Devs, and not see him transform. And by the way can't wait to see more of Scrapper and his buddies!!!
