Hello, I just bought the 1996 beast wars Iguanus and the 1999 Beast Wars TM2 Scarem figures and I was wondering what feedback you guys had for the figures.

I've no problems with Scarem, he's a solid figure, a lot of fun. My Iguanus' 'dress' has a damned annoying tendacy to fall off, though.

Wrong Iguanus, he's talking about the original, sharing most of the mold with Megalligator/gator Megatron.

Iguanus was the first BW figure I've ever held in-person, even though it wasn't actually mine (I could have kept it since a friend's little brother left it there, but noooooo, I had to be nice!). For the few days I had it, I loved it. Picked up one years later for my BW basic collection, and... well, he'd been easily overshadowed since those days, but he's still decent. Sold that one a year ago, to MnemonicSyntax.

A few years back I found a way to transform Scarem into a vaguely jet-like vehicle mode using his ass as the jet's nose and his claws/mandibles as wings. Don't ask for pics or instructions because I don't have a camera and I can't remember how I did it.
For some reason, I'd like to see hasbro repaint transmetal Waspinator in one of the seeker's color schemes.

    It could work, couldn't it?

Scarem's a decent toy, but I really much prefer Iguanus. I always felt like there were not enough reptilian Predacons. Iguanus, Snapper, Corada, Terragator, and the alligator version of Megatron (if you pretend it's not Megatron) are all wonderful toys.

I'd rether see g1 Kickback colors: the only problem is I don't think hasbro would chrome the wings in the modern day. Otherwise. Purple, Black, amber, and yellow antennae it would be great.

I like to be g1 crazy and consider waspinator and blackarchnia repurposed as Barrage and Nightbird.

More animated figures of any type would be good.

My original Iguanus would never stay in beast mode, thanks to the silly spring loaded transformation gimmick. His robot mode is excellent, though. TM2 Scarem is a great toy. I loved the way you can have his legs in 2 totally different configurations too.
If you like Scarem, and assuming you don't already have him, get TM2 Scourge. He's a brilliant toy.

Scarem is such a cool figure. I'm sad I got rid of him long ago.

I used to have an Iguanus. He has a nice robot mode, but the beast mode doesn't look like a frilled lizard, more like an alligator with a frill.
