A chance of apology for all the butthurt ine might've caused?

An opportunity to prove you're not just a raging fanboy/girl complaining about everything?

An attempt to boost your fellow forumers's moral with some optimism?

An adventurous plunge into reverse psychology?

A way of trolling in disguise?

This thread my offer you all these possibilities, and more! Or maybe none of them? Or maybe I'm just trying too hard to justify creating such a useless thread?

Anyways, here's the jist of it: Think about a part or aspect of our favorite franchise that you aren't terribly fond of, and try to say something positive about it. I mean, why not? It doesn't have to be something you absolutely loathe (though it's a viable option), but it must be something you're not a fan of.

    So, to start off:

At least AHM has some gorgeous artwork, and the dialogue towards the end between Megs and Starscream was kind of interesting.

I think that the Armada line had some great play value for kids. I can understand why they liked it so much.

Prime has good animation and a few really neat designs.

Energon had some interesting themes (that got cut short/ignored/destroyed).

    ROTF had Jolt.

I have to admit, I didn't like most of the Pretenders, but I loved some of their weapons. Bomb-Burst's Axe was one of my favs.

@Stryker055: Oh yeah, I really liked where they were going woth Rodimus, I wish it would've been executed better.

The movies are awesome, 'cause they introduced a whole new generation to Transformers and even brought back some old fans.

I'm kind of thawing on A/E/C molds lately. They had some really interesting looks and designs, and they could incorporate size in a way that Hasbro doesn't seem eager to do anymore (well only with characters that are already overexposed, not ones that are supposed to be big).

I also never thought I'd like the Beast Machines toyline, but I really enjoy Jhiaxus, Nemesis Strika, and Magna Stampede, and am after a few more of the Universe redecos of the molds.

In before the first backhanded compliment (eg - "it was nice that [series] was shitty, so I didn't spend money on it").

    Anyway...

    - Even with the dubbing errors, the first 25 - 26 episodes of the Energon cartoon were much better than I'd expected. And on the occasions when the series does use traditional cel animation for the TFs, it looks really good.
    - DW's G1 continuity gave us the neat MTMTE profile books.
    - The character designs for the DW TF/GI Joe crossover were cool.

Energon had some real gems in it's toyline along with the bad ones, and the "energon weapon" concept and superlinking were good attempts at a gimmick, even if they didn't pan out as well as expected.

    I like Prime Smokescreen's design.

On a technical level, the CGI in BayFormers is done well.

Also, Brains in Carly's underwear drawer.
