I was one of the many who purchased a deluxe Bee during the Animated run, and saw the plastic cracking on the left arm’s ball joint socket.

Which then cracked off and broke the arm for good.

As Animated is a little hard to kitbash with other parts of the franchise, he just sat in the parts bucket forever. Then I found Authentics Bumblebee. I had bought it for a side project to try and make a less horrible toy, but that was impossible. So the head went to fix my Titans Return Bumblebee.

I basically used some hobby snippers to carve out enough plastic for the new joint to fit. It’s not as good as the original, and he likely will never transform again, but I am ok with that in this case.

Because at the very least, this Bee can use his arm again.

Nice! I was messing with my Animated Bee recently and his shoulder joint cracked :/
I was able to glue it together for now but I’m glad to see this as a possible solution when it most likely cracks again.

Dammit - I really like that figure...
But nice to see there's an option to fix the issue.

So, downside. He certainly cannot transform back. Not only will the arm not quite work, but the torso seems to not be willing enough to transform properly. That looks to be separate damage from when my son last played with the poor guy.

Upside? With transformation no longer an option, we can just go through with making an Animated Action Master.

I really like how it looks. I trimmed off plastic from the top of the shoulder to match the Animated character model. I also chopped off the excess from the doors, giving him the proper arm profile. I took the yellow plastic from the heels that were also the roof and windshield, and chipped and glued them in more permanently.

    Worked out pretty well overall.
