One mold only. That was my rule to keep my display shelfes from collapsing. Now I broke that rule for Sandstorm. And I regret nothing, since he is not just a simple recolor of Springer from the same year, he is almost a complete and extensive retool, barely sharing parts. Even their alt-modes are completely different. Those were my thoughts to justify this purchase. As for the repaints, there was a little detailwork to do to lift him from "great" to "awesome". I painted the bumper in Takara style, gave the tiny wheels he uses in aircraft-mode a quick brush with black paint, and colored all the pipes he had in silver. Then I finished him up with some panellining and that was it. Sandstorm, definately not Springer!
