ive been so focused on the leader classes i forgot about all the other stuff.

there has never EVER been a single TF line where i wanted EVERYTHING shown (so far)

Beachcomber is pure gold (speaking of which, anyone else gonna paint their beachcomber's right hand gold when they get him? i know i am, lol electrum.)

i am already married to combiner wars and we have 5 children. so ANYTHING, repaints, compatibility or whatnot, wins me over automatically. i'm a slut for combiners.
therefore i am in love with Dreadwind and Darkwing even if i probably will never use them as combiner bits.

i actually really wanted jazz even before it was realized he is ALSO CW compatible. granted he's not quite as big and not quite as posable as the old RTS jazz, but i think i like this one better.

I actually like Starscream's megaman/popeye proportions. what's this he might be a friggin combiner torso? WOOOOOOOOO!!!!! but honestly as long as we get cracker and warp out of him too. (and fuckin god willing the coneheads too? a man can dream dammit...) i actually really like him.

also i don't think starscream's arms would look quite as chunky if they were colored correctly. right now they are a massive chunk of blue, but on the actual model that this starscream is based off of the armor on his forearm is supposed to be white.
    IDWseekers.jpg
i think adding that white would go along way to tone down that "chunkyness" even if it's just a trick of the eye.

I really hope the Prime Wars gimmicks carry over into whatever Generations becomes afterward. Not be a focus, of course, but it would still be fun to get some Titan Masters and combiner parts every now and again.

I love the RTS Jazz, but he's one of my favorite characters so I'm totally cool with buying this newest version. I think it's got two really beautiful modes, and I absolutely love the CW connectivity. Four thumbs up.

After a quick search. I think i'm on this Thunderclash from Rodimus bandwagon now too.

IDW Thunderclash is a very spacewinabago-y van shaped thing already. There has also been a recent, ridiculous outcry FOR a Thunderclash recently between the friggin waterfall of customs in the past year or so, and mmc just revealing one themselves. So Hasbro is absolutely aware of the fact we want one.

Also... i know its sounds bad, but a straight repaint with no retooling could actually work pretty well for Thunderclash coming from this particular figure.

Obviously everyone would love it if he got a new head and a retooled deluxe class figure to be more of a truck than the space car Hotrod is, and scream "ruined forever" if he didn't.

But a straight Thunderclash repaint from Rodimus works ALOT better than say the recent Quickswitch from Sixshot. Hasbro is known for being cheap when they can get away with it.
I can see it in my mind, and honestly i think it works quite well.

don't forget Liokaiser! now that we know CW is back in full force in the Voyager and Deluxe lineups they might have found a way to do a better Liokaiser than they would have been able to do a year ago. perhaps that's why they haven't done one yet already, they were holding off for the new molds.

Leozack from the new Starscream figure and Jalugar from Beachcomber?

I want to know more about Slugslinger's wave. And when the heck it's going to show up. He's looking good here and not like I will have burned through a holiday season before I see one.

I'm going to miss Headmasters so much. If only this new line would have a proper Headmaster Nightbeat.

I'll toss my 2 cents in I guess.

The Prime Masters: I'm iffy on because I love the smallest TFs as a rule, but it seems to be a criminal waste of the Pretender gimmick. I mean, the shells were never the characters, the bots inside were. So while the shell looks like Skullgrin, it's not really Skullgrin. It's Liege Maximo.

Legends: I wish we could have seen more than just Beachcomber. He is by far the best figure they showed so far. (IMO) I hope they continue to give us more Throttlebots and maybe some of the Sparkabot/Firecons. Cliffjumper/Hubcap would be nice and I'm sure we'll see Outback soon. I just wish we would get a new Huffer, Pipes and Warpath as their remolds don't really fit with the rest of the new mold Minibots.

Deluxes: I kinda like that they are going back to CW. Despite having 10 plus versions of the Aerialbot molds I'm really not that thrilled to see 2 more, but they do look like their G1-selves. That said, if they are not going to use the Headmaster gimmick in this line, then the only figures they can repaint, remold are the CW ones since the TM ones don't have heads. (Unless they want to do a remold of one and give it a new built in head.) Jazz looks nice and I appreciate the Pretender look. I'm hoping if all of the Deluxe figures turn out to be CW compatible, that they at least give us the Combiner bots they didn't do before. (Terrorcons, Predacons, etc...)

Voyagers: Wow that Starscream does look puffy. If it is a Combiner torso, then I think more fans will be a little more forgiving. I understand the disappointment as so many of us have been wanting Voyager scaled Seekers for quite some time.

Leaders: Well I have to say I like the concept but am disappointed in the final product. I don't know about you guys, but I've come to expect a better looking/functional figure for a Leader class price. This mess is going to cost us $45 plus bucks? wish they had put a little more work into it so as to not look so cheap. (I hate to use that word, but I can't think of a better one right now.) I just don't mean the crappy looking snap on wheels and huge body gaps, but the last time I remember a TF having such a large piece of flip-down kibble on a forearm was Beast Machines Jetstorm. 17 years ago. Come on Hasbro. You guys can make better figures than this. I just hope the rest of the Leader figures look/transform better.

I have to say I'm not super excited for PotP, but I guess the line is what it is. I understand that they wanted to save some stuff to show off at Hascon, but they really didn't do themselves any favors by only showing one Legend, Voyager and Leader. And if the Starscream "is" a Combiner torso, they should have shown that gimmick as well. Confirming a CW gimmick for the Deluxe/Voyagers would have given fans a better idea for the line as a whole rather than being left wondering if what we're seeing is true.

As far as the other lines, they really didn't show much new stuff. I guess we again, have to wait for Hascon.

They have essentially made Powermaster Rodimus, so I\'m all in on this mold. Liege Maximo/Skullgrin is pretty cool also, and I'm probably going to pick up every single Primemaster minicon guys.

I hope the combiner and headmaster ports are all backwards compatible.

My main gripe is the laziness of reusing titan masters as power masters with out the face. I don't even think G1 did that. Cheap and lazy.

Did they think we all loved the paintless boring titan masters all that much ? Some of them are one solid color of plastic. That's it.
