@walternaka is wanting to make ancient asian styled figures. They would be based on already existing characters, but with an asian warriors twist.

There are plenty of Samurai transformers already! Bludgeon, Drift (IDW and movie versions), Animated Samurai Prowl... but I'm always up for another design as long as it looks cool.

 

Would an MP Alpha Trion look enough like an asian warrior to him? Then I'd be interested.

 

This is the transformation of the whole robot, not just the combination of armor like the saint fighter. This is a samurai series. I am looking for partners. Because there is no copyright issue involved, this can be produced in the United States. If anyone is interested, please contact me. We can raise funds online, or we can apply to the authorities for the name and logo of transformers.

 

I want to tell that the toys in this series are characterized by that the armor of warriors can be removed in three states: full armor state, which can Transform, light armor state, high mobility of characters, prime body state, and completely removed armor state. There are already five characters in my plan: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Bumblebee, sound wave, sound wave are the most special. I give it the image of not a samurai but a ninja.

 

What I would be interested in is Marvel accurate Pretenders.
Imagine a Bludgeon inner robot that transforms into a green tank. Then a super articulated samurai skeleton shell that opens up in the back to insert the inner robot.
Now that would be awesome.

I love the idea and gimmick, but would prefer original or at least more obscure characters over the usual group of big names.

 

Obscure and Original characters don't sell as well, particularly when trying to launch a new line.

Iron Factory is just starting a new line of samurai IDW-esque designs. Bludgeon being one.

I'm a sad consumer of g1 only, mostly because allowing myself to stray into purely fun stuff is not in the budget or available shelf space.
