I hope I can see this in theaters if I can. It helps that the Sailor Moon R film is quite honestly, in my humble opinion, the best out of the three movies.

 

Interesting. I might go see it as long as it isn't overpriced and it has the new dub.

 

I can not possibly be the only one who read that movie title and was alarmed at what appeared to be its rating by the MPAA.

 

Lol. Didn't catch that tell you pointed it out but the movie is called "sailor Moon R" but that's kind of funny.

 

Well, it is pretty obvious as of this point that they are releasing the new dub for the film. Heck, they even made the official confirmation on who is going to voice as the character of Fiore just today.

 

It'd be more funnier if the movie was Abridged as a R rated one.

So, a straight dub more or less? I'm not familiar with the franchise, but I do recall hearing that Mercury and whoever the orange sailor is (Saturn?) were straight up lesbians who kiss at one point...and the dub tried to pass them off as cousins but forgot to remove the kissing in the process.

Or perhaps the exact opposite is going on. It happened with Transformers when Takara got a little too out of the box with trying to expand franchise appeal, after all.

 

I say like a Parody of Seth Rogen's Movies what would it be known as "Promise of the Weed".

 

The two lesbian Sailor Guardians you are referring to are Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune.

 

Okay this was a cool unexpected thing to happen.

They better do a showing in Ottawa and at a reasonable date and time.
