A pleasant surprise. I have this figure and it's always been one of my favorites. He just looks badass in every mode and is one of these guys where even the kibble looks good. He'll always be Inferno to me, too. Thanks for reviewing him! For vehicle mode, I try to put his legs resembling a construction vehicle cabin. His drills absolutely won't angle for me, they have the pin but it seems they are either glued or extremely tight to the point that I don't even try anymore on fear of breaking him. Not really important, might be some international release running change or something.
I bought one on a trip in a store while on a road trip a few years ago (meaning the toy had been collecting dust on its shelf for something like 10 years)... and regretted it. No matter how hard I try to like the BW stuff, it never works.
Shame, there's some good stuff there. I don't know why I like Scavenger so much, he's a bit of a departure from the usual BW design element, even for Transmetals. But for some reason I just really, really dig him.
The whole psychotic cackling demon thing he's got going on probably helps. Just like how I love BW TM2 Scourge, who, while objectively isn't all that spectacular a figure (not bad, mind you, but nothing special), just has that whole creepy toxic ninja vibe about him that makes him uniquely badass.
