    When I realized Metal Gear Solid was over. ANY of them. Seriously. I almost never wan't the stories to end.

    I played through it so many times I have seen it work out both ways- but I believe you get a much more potent story scene if you let him die.

    at the beginning of shenmue when you find that girl with the kitten, and she describes how her mother was run over.
