honestly im not even sure who it was, but they were claiming beyond a shadow of a doubt that the project was cancelled, not inquiring or thinking it might be cancelled

I just hope that the kit comes with all tools required to install it. I have no idea where to get a pin remover here, I searched hardware and do it yourself stores and none of them had anything even remotely appropriate for the size of TF pins.

A nail set kit will work just as good as a pin punch. Most kits have 3 sizes that are perfect for TF pins. Any hardware or home improvement store or online stores will have them.

Yeah, but then I have to wait like 2-3 weeks for the damn punch to arrive and won't know if its the right size until it does. And unless I order from China, I will pay 10x its worth in shipping.

@geekatron prime - Nail set kit? Do you have a pic, I have no idea how that looks.

Don't stress too much. The kit is actually pretty easy to install. I've installed three of the Vitalis kits and I used just a small nail and hammer to knock the pin. The only trick is being very careful and read the directions or watch a installation video if they're available. I had never knocked a pin before the Vitalis kit and was quite apprehensive/scared but once you get past that you'll have zero issues. Just be careful and you'll be fine, it's not difficult at all.

Here you go. They're just small punches used for putting finishing nails(headless nails) into paneling or whatnot, so you don't damage the wood with your hammer. I've used mine for all three of S.N.D.'s kits.

Yep. Home Depot, Lowe's, Harbour Freight should all have them. Even Amazon has them. Some Walmart's carry them as well. Any hardware store too.

Bugger bugger bugger, I only just saw this question! Sorry, dude, I shall dock myself a day's pay for missing this one until now!

The panels on the backs of the legs are essential, since they fold up and hold the legs in place in alt mode, BUT... yep, you can take the shinpads off without compromising the alt mode, if you want to go for the Devastation look. :D
