It looks so crisp and smooth

 

The thighs look a little weird, but undoubtedly provide superior posability.

 

I think the crotch plate may be a bother because it still uses the original one which is one piece and the whole thing could lift up if you lift one of the legs.

 

Looks cool but for $50, I kinda lean toward buying a full figure for like $85..or 100

 

Both have its merits. I can't really say since GCreations and Generation Toys are coming out with IDW Optimus Primes. But for the merit as teh kit alone, this works wonders and managed to capture the IDW Prime look.

Looking good. I don't suppose you could perhaps show us a pic of the combined mode vs. a standard combiner like Menasor or Superion to get an idea of how much taller Uber-Prime here is?

I'm a little miffed that in order for me to scale this well with CW Megatron I have to get an upgrade for him. Sigh. I really love how this looks though. So lush.

After seeing this, I wish there was a set to transform UW Grand Convoy into a true homage to the Energon/Superlink version (Not turning him into a fatty though).
