Should you get 1954 Godzilla? Ehhh... I'd say it's a "Meh" figure. Go for it only if you're a hardcore MonsterArts collector or you prefer the sharper details over NECA's softer details in their release. If you've been collecting the line for a while, you know what to expect from it. It's only slightly better articulated than NECA's version but it's mainly because G54 was not the most articulated Godzilla out there and doesn't pull off super moves unless you plan to purpose this as 1955 Godzilla. If you hate the bendy wire tail, then you'd prefer this. But between the 2, as in you have only 1 option to choose from, I say go with the NECA version.

 

I much prefer the Figuarts over the NECA in that case. Much more refined details and the NECA seems almost cartoony over the SHM in comparison.

 

That’s the only thing keeping me from buying this one even though I missed the first release.

So, my SHMA KO Rodan's wing snapped. I tried to glue it. it didn't work. (I still have some glue to scrape off.) What can I use to fix it?

 

You will need a 2mm metal pin.

 

What do I do with it?

 

A hole in each piece (with a hand-driller) and then put the metal pin. You will loose the articulation feature but the wing will stay on the place.

 

I'll still be able to move the shoulder joint, correct?

 

No, I don't think you will.
