Love that they included solid wings for spread poses, so you don't have slabs of wing plastic.

 

I got my '54 Godzilla reissue in the other day... took me a little while to get over the eyes of that suit, but looks great...definitely better sculpt than the NECA, which I have.

Articulation might be better on NECA, but I don't need Godzilla to do the splits.

 

Wait, hold up, The NECA has better articulation?

Hey the joints are there, but are so tight or blocked by the sculpt you barely get movement. That’s all I’m saying.

Regardless, I’ll take MonsterArts any day over Neca.

 

Rathalos box is ridiculously huge. It basically doubled the size of my already hefty order from HLJ. It's a big bastard too. And a big pain in the ass to get everything set up right on. But once you've done so it's got some damn nice shelf presence.

 

I do agree with you with all what you said, but I think @SHINOBI03 is happy with the results on what he did and it shows.

 

Hey, @SHINOBI03, would you mind telling me how you attached the Revoltech joints to Ghidorah? I'm thinking about making an articulated Gigan from a Vinyl.

I guess I should post a few pictures of the chonky boi. Lots of shelf presence, a royal pain in the ass to fiddle with and set up to have that shelf presence. Keep some joint tightener around for the balljoints of the wing sails, notably.

 

It seemed like he was bummed on how it turned out noting “wasted a month” in his remark. I didn’t intend to criticize his work negatively. I was actually trying to be supportive. Maybe it came out wrong. It turned out great SHINOBI03. Something I wouldn’t have attempted so props to you!

 

Maybe he was just tried and said that instead of "I'm finally done!!! WOO!!!"

Speaking of which, this was shown today:



The neck looks horrible and I'm sure the final product will have derpy eyes.

 

I want to be excited for this, but not only is it a little too late, but the colors looks off. Maybe it's the lighting but it leans a little to green instead of grey? But at least it is the right size and not as big as the NECA version.




Monster Hunter is still going, now they've revealed Zinogre. Who knew putting highly detailed, nicely painted, and multiple display options instead of just a barebone figure would make such a good idea?

 

Somehow NECA's 1989 looks better.

 

I want that Zinogre, it's amazingly well sculpted.

I ordered the Goji 2002, but that Bio-Goji is pretty interesting. Damn....

I'd be totally in love with the NECA '89 if the head was better. It is really, really damn good for the asking price though and gives me pause about buying the SHMA.
