That's a fantastic price for a monsterarts figure. I'm tempted by that.

Anyone have any advice for attaching Millennium Godzilla (Special Color)'s head? Between the tolerances and the tendency of the peg to bend and the general, ah, spininess of the figure I'm finding it a near-impossible task!

Nope, any advice for doing it safely? Never done it, with TFs or anything else, but it occurred to me.

What are you trying to attach? A socket over one of the balls?

I'd heat up some water in a coffee mug in a microwave for two minutes on high. Then remove the mug using an oven Mitt cause it's hot. Then stir the water with a spoon to evenly distribute the heat. Then dip only the area of the head (the socket section) in the water and hold it there for a mintue. Then remove it. Dry with a towel. The area should be heated and softer. Now try to reassemble it onto the plastic ball joint.

Got my $31 MA '14 Godzilla from Amazon yesterday. The box was a bit beat up but the figure looked great. Good upgrade over the NECA version, but it wouldn't have been worth it at the MSRP. The NECA is still a great figure for the price.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of the MA G'14's deviations from the movie design; and that's why I think the NECA figure is better in terms of screen accuracy.

I don't want an altered version of the Big G from the film in this line, I want the Big G I saw in that film. And the NECA figure doesn't have a poorly-painted face throughout many copies, either.

I'm not bashing the line, but they really dropped the ball with the Legendary design, especially considering how this line prides itself on being accurate, super-articulate versions of these kaiju.

This advice was perfect. It worked perfectly. You're perfect.

    Thank you!

Don't mention it! I had to do the same thing for the shoulder cover parts on G 2000's arms.

I saw one of the Facebook comments was "finally a Godzilla they can't screw up the eyes on"

I'm glad the line isn't over.

Yo, so what's up with the heavily scarred Godzilla in the next Japanese film? Is there any back story on it?

Brand new SH Monsterarts Godzilla 2001 anyone?

    S.H.MonsterArts ????2001? | ????????? | ???????????

I think this is brand new but I have been collecting these for less than a year. So if this is a REPAINT or anything cut me some slack for fuckiing up but I am pretty sure it's a new sculpt.

And this is beautiful, this might be my favorite so far!
