I'm confused...do all the little military units and stands come with the Godzilla or is that an accessory pack or something?

He's up for preorder on BBTS too
    S.H. MonsterArts - Godzilla - Godzilla Figures

This is also pretty awesome. I wanna build a display of these guys right on my shelf, buildings and everything :D
S.H. MonsterArts - Effects & Toho Special Super Weapons Set for Godzilla Exclusive - Godzilla Figures

I hope they make Millennium Gigan and Kiryu also plus the other incarnations of Godzilla.

Nah the first production just comes with his thermonuclear breath and a stand for it to be posed on.

The commercial just was showing off the military and effects set at the end because you have to order that directly through Bandai, via Tamashii Web Shouten. There's been no word yet on whether or not Bluefin is going to offer that set stateside. If they do, it'll be much cheaper than BBTS. The set's retail cost is only $30 plus shipping.

Daimajin is a Kadokawa property, not Toho, so there's no chance any time in the near future.

IMO the special effects parts are cool but I don't like a stand is required to hold the flame effect part up. I think it could have been designed without the stand.

Maybe there is a way to mod it. Magnets maybe?

I think the stand is used as support because the flame piece is too heavy and will cause the head to look down. If thats the case then I suppose you could mod the head/neck with a flexible metal wire.

If they did that then how are they gonna sell you a Tamashii stage stand? ;)

I was thinking Bandai could have made the flame effect part actually touch the ground or use multi-pieces to make longer or shorter special effects parts.

I would still buy the stand and they could make the stand large enough for the special effect (following my above idea).

Space Godzilla looks great. While I want to pick it up, I think I'll pass for now since I haven't seen the movie its from yet. Hopefully King Ghidorah will be next.

    Hacchaka's review of Godzilla

Says you! I'm still incredibly impressed. Just gotta keep an eye out for Godzilla's... uh, eyes.

They look like separate pieces installed into the head, which makes sense, and for some reason the piece they're on gets misaligned within the head. I imagine there are ways to fix this if yours suffers from this problem.

Okay I do get why his eyes look odd and that he has a broken jaw, but meh I still think he looks good.

Had to see if it was cheaper for me to get them through Diamond or through Sideshow...I'm in on this line for every monster they can throw at me!

Darn for the eyes...IMO the "eyes" can be the deal breaker for me. Looks like I will have to spend time carefully choosing my piece.
