If it stays in stock into January, that might be an impulse buy. It's very cool, but I'm already running out of room for MonsterArts & still have Mecha-KG & Gamera on tap, on top of all the third party TF stuff I'm behind on.

Currently got my other Kiryu in storage but this one seems lighter and the tail seems shorter. The damaged head sculpt is pure win and the paint is really nice. Honestly i couldnt pick one Kiryu over another they are both great! BTW taking off the repaired hand and drill are painful! Be careful with those.

Edit: nevermind tail is the same. Chest doors dont seem to be diecast like on the first release.

Wow! So sick! I can't tell if I like him more than Mecha Godzilla but I think I do.

That's a great variant. That battle-damage and the coloring really make it stand out. Very collector-worthy.

I wasn't going to buy this Kiryu but I ended up liking the colour better so I did. I wish they would make a movie accurate Godzilla to go with it.

Heavy Arms Kiryu arrived - love it! However the shoulders on mine are CRAZY tight - they move but they're just super stiff. Anyone else?

Aside from that it's great. They only thing I would have added, as with others, are beam effects. I really miss those :(

Well, after finally receiving my Kiryu Heavy Arms from Amazon, Barnes and Noble had another 25% off coupon available for this weekend. Combine that with my 10% off member discount and I managed to grab mine for $90 with tax. Looks like I'll be returning one to Amazon now. I may go back and re-use that coupon this weekend on a couple more items that I've been thinking about grabbing.

My B&N had 2003 Kiryu today. I was considering to get him as I had a 25% off coupon with the additional 10% for being a rewards member, but my g/f really wanted the Settlers of Catan Pirates expansion, so I gave her my coupon and passed on him. It worked out for the better though as my TRU had Legacy Titanus for $150.

God damn Barnes & Noble and their coupons:

I got Kiryu 2003 for $85 and the Doctor Who BD set for $60 (and I still needed to buy S7 and the two specials, but this was the better deal).

So you want to know how's my Godzilla, right? well, here how it is: Godzilla looks like it just killed and ate someone! The red paint on its mouth seriously looks like blood! And the eyes, it's stuck in this weird position.

But at least it got better head articulation than NECA's.

I didn't realize his head could bend up that much. It'd allow for a swimming pose.
    Dammit.
