Yup, for my younger boy and daughter who are between 7 to 8. That’s why they (the boys) prefer Ultraman : where its shorter because they in episode formats. Makes it more action packed? I was surprised that they could watch through the two original Ultraman Belial movies though...maybe not as they were quite action packed and filled with CGI effects! X) Sounds about right to me...the SpaceG movie was pretty draggy even though the action was good.
I was aware of Spacegodzilla for a long time before I ever saw the movie. I had seen him in magazines and I even had the 12 inch Trendmasters figure for years. Years later when I first saw the Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla movie I was enamored with it. I thought it was great. Then on subsequent viewings it was more: They think they can kill Godzilla with a magic bullet by shooting his arm pit? How did the UN just know what created Spacegodzilla? Why did Spacegodzilla kidnap Godzilla Jr? Why is this movie so long?
Beyond there's also why they thought Moguera was the successor to MechaGodzilla. They should have said he was the prototype or something. I just don't buy that weak ass machine to be better than MechaG. Also, why is Godzilla's tail falling off at the end? Then there's also the dropped ESP plot, the random yakuza plot, the mediocre soundtrack, the horrid effects, and that SpaceG barely ever actually does anything. He shoots crystals and laser beams. He never actually fights.
MechaGodzilla successfully KILLED Godzilla, destroyed his secondary brain! If not for Rodan's sacrifice that was it. Godzilla was dead. And then MOGUERA is the successor yet contains none of the weapons that MechaGodzilla used effectively? Well, he also built crystal towers for... power or something? And he made a nice crystal playpen for Godzilla Jr.
MOGUERA can split into two vehicles, so i suppose that's an inprovement. Also wasn't Godzilla's "death" in GvMGII debunked somewhere?
Um... seeing as how it happened on screen, it can't be debunked. They destroyed Godzilla's second brain that is in his legs and then Rodan sacrified himself to regenerate the brain because Rodan can do that.
Yah. I mean it happened onscreen with a pretty big amount of exposition as well. About a dozen posts ago. TRYPTICON WILL CRUSH YOU!
The difference there is that Mothra, Ghidorah, and Baragon were advertised throughout the film as being mythical beasts with supernatural abilities. Nothing in GvsMG ever stated Rodan was anything beyond a normal dinosaur. However, I get what you are saying. Well when Bandai gives us a MonsterArt worth talking about, we'll go back to talking about MonsterArts. It's not our fault the MA well is drier than an elderly woman's... eh, I'll stop there.
