You’re entirely right, and I’m sorry if I came off as insulting. It’s just no one said the original post about Rung in New Orleans was newsworthy- nor was a news credit was given. You’re right that it isn’t, I just don’t quite get where you were coming from when there was no implication it was newsworthy.
I started the original thread to point out that Rung and Singe were out in the wild, at least at specialist retailers. Assuming that before long, they'd make it to one of the big retailers (which are basically just Walmart and Target at this point). That, then, would be newsworthy. This thread just bluntly states that "Rung is out!", with no further details added besides a photo. Not knowing where exactly this Rung was purchased, it could have (theoretically) been at a specialist retailer just like the one in my own thread, which would bring us back to square one. So basically, by the point I made my initial comment, this thread contained about as much information as my older thread. Arguably even less so, because the venue of purchase was not stated. In other words, if my initial thread wasn't newsworthy, then this thread, which at least initially contained even less information, certainly wouldn't qualify as newsworthy either. Hoooowever, that could easily be amended by adding further information such as store, location, an on-shelf photo or a receipt photo etc. Which I pointed out as the threshold of newsworthiness as per this site's standard.
OK guys, relax. Right now we need a receipt picture to confirm if Rung is available at a major retail chain (Target, Walmart, not comic stores). So far @DocSeth81 has only provided a picture of the toys. Let's hope he can send us the extra image we need to confirm this a major sighting in the US:
Most Targets I've been to recently had loaded up on Battlemasters for this past weekend's sale, so I'd say the chances that Rung has hit retail are very high.

I just got mine from BBTS, they got the last Battlemaster and Micromaster waves in last week. He's a little small but the sculpting is amazing and I'm just happy he exists.
Comic stores have been carrying Rung, as well as eBay sellers, since around the beginning of the month. Since Walmart physical stores do not like to carry Micro Masters, Rung will be harder to find. The Target stores here are always at least 1 wave behind Walmart. Meijer stores are +/- with Micro Masters (some carry them, some don't) here and also tend to be way behind Walmart. I wouldn't overpay for Rung. He'll likely shelf warm as with the rest of the Micro / Battle Masters. If your store is carrying new Pteraxodon's, that could be one clue that you missed Rung (as well as Singe). At Target, that's hard to tell as Pteraxodon is also a shelf warmer from previous waves.
So far the Targets around here have gotten stuck on Lionizer...but then they've also gotten Smashdown a few times and I can't remember who was packed with him. (Another reason I prefer repaints to repacks...at least with repaints you can *always* tell which waves have come through when you look at the shelf)
