These look WAY BETTER than I expected them to.

I might be buying way too many figures in this line.

 

Also, don't care about Blackarachnia, but credit where credits due, its great and better than the last fembot mold.

 

Well, not my fault. Conscience is clear. This is why we can't have nice things. We're way too immature as a fandom.

 

Warpath looks neat. Cheetor looks ace, Blackarachnia barely looks like she transforms. I hope whoever stays safe and doesnt get fired

 

To be honest, I don't normally kick up a fuss about Beast Wars. I'm more of a G1 fan, but I do have fond memories of the Beast Wars characters.

But going by Kingdom Rattrap, and the 'teases', it looks like they're finally making the kind of CHUG Beast Wars toys that I want (I mean, I'm a guy who, years ago, thought he'd finally get an updated CHUG Cheetor. And then they revealed Universe Cheetor. I walked away......... ).

I'm starting to get this feeling of excitement about Beast Wars I haven't felt in a long time. .

 

...(from what can be seen)looks like Warpath carries over a lot of the transformation from the Generations version with a proper tank mode...

Cheetor's alt mode and legs look really great... upper body looks a bit... weird? stiff? like, the shoulders seem like they protrude out too far on sticks... and the dead eyes on the head on the chest.

Black Arachnia's a character I'm pretty "meh" on, and I don't have much of an opinion here on. looks... just as "meh" (alternatively, kinda "meh" on Ratrap, but that core figure looks so great I'm getting him anyways)

 

Holy fuck that cheetah looks good. I'm kinda amazed.

 

That's how I feel about most recent MP figures anyway. ER Optimus has a few shortcomings, but it's super G1, very well articulated and only $50. Even MP10 I think was a much better value than MP44 in my eyes (and looked much better).

The prices are WAAAY too high, and the engineering is way overdone in an attempt to slavishly capture animation models.

 

Curious as to how @Verno feels about these over Rattrap. Hopefully they are more to his liking?

Did anyone brag about having the pics? I didnt see that, I saw people hyping the fandom for the eventual reveals.

 

Is it me or does Cheetor have a fake cheetah head? The lower jaw is white in Beast mode yet yellow in bot? Maybe a faulty paint app on the prototype?

 

Honestly, I don't know why you're being so cynical and bitter about this. While I can't speak for the others, for me, it really wasn't about "feeling special". I myself love hearing tidbits and insider information and I'm always excited to get the latest scoops and rumors from guys like Phamduc who have early access. Due to some lucky turn of events, I managed to get in on some pics and I was doing my best to share as much information about them as possible whenever I glean something new myself. I was not deliberately withholding information or stringing people along.

The only thing I couldn't do is share the pics or make them public because someone had put their trust in me. I know integrity is in short supply these days, but this is something I will not compromise on.

...and who exactly was bragging?
