I'd hate for them to waste a $80 Commander slot on a Rodimus toy, when there are so many better options for that slot. That would have the top two price points taken up by a figure that doubles as a playset.

If they're co-leads, that shows the scope of the job must be absolutely massive. John was doing it by himself, but the role has grown so large it now needs two people. Understandable I guess with Bot Bots, Cyberverse, Generations, RED, Studio Series and Movie lines all needing to be managed.

you could probably get away with a "middle of the back" or "under the wings" on some modes, but I hope they don't overdue it.
Was just looking at the revealed Bluestreak and was noticing how janky those peg holes on the outside of his shoulders look.

I mean, in the 2004 PS2 game, if his health is low, he starts pooping out non-transforming flying Decepticlones, and endlessly poops them out if you destroy his cannons. They could include one of those to harass Supercon Optimus while he tries to headshot Tidal Wave.

-It's not available at retail and plenty of new fans have come into the community since it came out
-It's price is inlfated due to the above
-It's not worth the inflated price
    -Mediocre alt modes
-the design is an awful mash up for WFC/G1 the doesn't match either aesthetic well
-It's skinny and lanky when Metroplex should be big and beefy, and a robot made out of a blocky city should be
    -Limited articulation
-Budget eaten up by electronics that no one wants. (seriously does any one want stupid lights and voice clips??)

    I hope that was enlightening!

Yes, I listen to the voice clips from my MP-43 toy every night before bed.

Yeah, really hoping Rodimus Prime doesn't end up next year's Commander. Just too many other characters that would fit that size so much better. There's no reason he should be any larger than a leader like Optimus with his trailer.

I still say that Jetfire was designed with an eventual Star Saber in mind. Especially when you look at how he transforms. It would be easy to integrate a seperate robot with some heavy retooling. Just my two cents though.

It would be great if Deathsaurus were to end up as next year's Commander though. It wpuld allow them to make it "not BW" as we've been told, but still have a beast theme.

That would be a lot of bad guy leaders in one line, between Megatron, Megatron, Galvatron, and Deathsaurus.

True. Still be damned cool. Also, if the rumors are true we're getting Optimus Prime, Optimus Primal, and Rodimus Prime. Seems like leader central for Kingdom when you add Megatron, Megatron, and Galvatron. :lol  What's one more? Hey I can dream right? :lol

Wholeheartedly agreed. I'm already bothered by the single 5mm port on the Earthrise altmodes, it just ruins the clean look. I understand they didn't want to remove them altogether (after Siege's 5mm port galore) but having them on BW altmodes would be egregrious.

If they were doing the Transmetals, sure, maybe, so long as they were tasteful. But not on the organic beasts. Going to the effort of sculpting fur on Optimus Primal (which is sounds as though they have) and then sticking ports and pegs on it would be a real shame.

Really hoping for some well sculpted fur, as I believe Apollox said that the initially planned flocking may not have made the cut.

But we should't be too suprised if they do end up on the s1 characters; it's the War for Cybertron trilogy after all, where weapons and weaponizing are main gimmicks (unfortunately...).

Hopefully all the Beast Warriors' trademark hidden weapons means they avoid the need for it.

It always feels a bit like a game of russian roulette, hoping that a given CHUG line's gimmick won't be too intrusive once a character you want finally becomes CHUG. I guess I should at least be glad this BW revival didn't happen during Titans Return, or they'd all inexplicably be headmasters now.
