Glad to see this rumor reposted after the update.

Really excited for Overlord, like I don't like the one that came out of Botcon 2012 but that just might be because I don't like the ROTF Bludgeon mold in general.
And I guess I'll take Sky Shadow if it ends up being Black Shadow. Have the Generations one but he's missing his guns. Now can Hasbro finally give us a Blue Bacchus?

 

Overlord, so long as he looks really good, will end up on my newly minted Leader Shelf (Seriously, before last year I owned only one leader and now I have Magnus, Soundwave on the way, and most likely Overlord and Sixshot). As for Black Shadow/Sky Shadow I don't care... no attachment.

Sky Shadow might lend some weight to the possibility that the next line after Titans Returns will be a gimmick aping Pretenders if he is like the CW Ultra Magnus of Titans Returns and Thunderwing is the Titans Returns PMOP.

 

We pretty much knew Overlord was coming. Black Shaow is a bit of a surprise. Hopefully they have a Thunderwing and/or Metalhawk planned..

 

Overlord.. wow, never saw that release coming.. Of course Takara will give him the G1 accuracy anime treatment..  

 

As mentioned previously, Overlord is an automatic must-get and like Sixshot, now I don't have to spring for the Third-Party version (MMC Carnifex)

 

Yeah, I'm hoping he gets similar remolding to Ginrai if Hasbro's version isn't quite doing it for me.

 

Yup..dont be surprised if he somehow gets two Godmaster engines? err, or perhaps some chromed parts in his chest to mimic the g1 toy.  

 

Honestly I'm not holding my breath for Godmaster engines at all. If they didn't do that for Ginrai, I just can't see them doing it for Overlord.

But somehow Takara will provide some form of 'homage'. / remolding to Overlord.. just like the extra faux engine detail on Ginrai to mimic the "godmaster"..  

 

I sorta wildly hope Sky Shadow is somehow the Beast Wars Fuzor, either a new mold or something equally ridiculous like a retool of Overlord (tank+jet is like a Fuzor).

But I'm just expecting yet another use of that Jetfire mold...

 

Shorter antennae on the helmet, two anime-accurate faces (different expressions maybe) instead of what I hope would be one comic and one toy head on the domestic product, a more drab shade of blue. If Giga and Mega were Godmasters also Overlord would have faces for nipples and no head, which I'm sure is fine in some countries, but there's a compromise: make the Godmaster doors close so he can store whichever Titanmasters you want in there.

 

I'm hoping that we'll see a Star Saber retool from either Overlord or Sky Shadow.

 

I hope Sky Shadow is Black Shadow and that he's a new mold. I want a new Black Shadow that isn't a deluxe.

 

Man, if Overlord is confirmed Hasbro just fucked over MMC

 

I hope its a new mold for Overlord. I would love to get MMC's but he is not up on the priority list. I have a big backlog of MP's to get still, but if he sells well MMC could do multiple production runs. I honestly think Back Shadow is just going to be a minor re-tool of the leader Jetfire mold.
