Having Misfire as a major retool would be a waste.
Recolour Topspin and give him a new head and he is spot on in vehicle and botmodes.
That is the one case where Hasbro could save money and please the fans.
It would be a major WTF if they didnt do this.

 

I think that was more of a quirk as Combiner Wars transitioned into Titans Return, than any sort of indicative trend.

I wonder what the point of repacking Wolfwire is ? might that have reinforced the pack part or is it a repaint ?
I'd actually not mind a repaint there are a number of options that would make sense (even if they don't change the name)
such as : Carnivac, Dark Fangwolf, & Cybertron Snarl.

I hope they get on that Fangry Deluxe though as it' so obvious that Twinferno is a pre-mould of Fangry he has a whole bunch of body parts that are a perfect match to Fangry such as the wings, beast legs, chest & forearms heck they might not even need to change the tail either unless they want too. all he needs is a new set of arms that turn into the wolf head - or have him flipped upside down in his transformaton and make the tail the arms. (but that would require a lot more remoulding and remounting of parts.

But I'd be a bit disapointed if they don't do Fangry as a deluxe when there is a mould out there already that seems to very suited to him - with only a few additions needed.

 

I predict it will be a retool. Hopefully Carnivac, or Snarl.

Takara isn't going to do their own figures. At best, they'll do a heavy remold off something Hasbro is doing. In any case, I think your theory is flawed, since Hasbro is already doing a Star Saber and Deathsaurus.

 

Um, we haven't officially seen Star Saber and Deathsaurus. I would love to be wrong though.

The fact that Takara is already doing the HM Jrs the same way that Hasbro is (as just heads)...and the fact that Legends seems to be coming to a screeching halt in favor of movie product...leads me to believe that full-fledged HM Jrs. are probably, at best, a shelved idea and, at worst, never in the cards.

I think that is a safe assumption, given the leaked info we have and Voyager Megatron's over all design and the skill this design team has shown with pre-tools.
