you are just so right. And why are they wasting time on this, other then maybe the fact they got the rights to Sarge for G.I. Joe back, when Hound/VAMP is just sitting right there waiting to happen with the obvious Swindle/Stinger retool.

 

I really hope this isn\'t Optimus Prime, I hope it isn\'t hound either.  I felt like I would have bought the buggy if it wasn\'t Bee.  It could\'ve been Hound or Beachcomber...maybe I\'ll buy it if it goes on clearance somewhere.  I did buy the hiss tank and was disappointed with how hollow meagtron is in bot mode so he stays in tank mode on my shelf with the Walmart exclusive 3 inch Joe\'s and Cobras.  Watch it turns out to be Ironhide.

 

The characters are random A-tier guys, but I don't think the sizes are. Megatron was a big vehicle, and Bumblebee was a smaller one. I think Triple T will be another not-so-huge guy.

 

Very cool. I Love G.i. Joe. BUT.. They did not have the rights to have Sgt Slaughter bits on the complete series dvd set. If they do a new complete series set. I Hope they get the rights to have his bits on the dvd. It was a let down they were not on there.

 

You know depending on how this wwe sell goes just maybe we could get a 3 way crossover.

Likely not happening in this line, the Autobots are the G.I. Joe vehicles and the Decepticons are the Cobra ones.

Nuts I don't have a more Modern 3.75" Figure for this, I only have my original one. ( I like to use the newer figures with these things).
I look forward to it being sold for £20 on Clearance.

Hopefully since this is such a simplistic vehicle they can achive a better robot mode than they did with the previous ones.

 

I feel the Snowcat would be perfect for representing Ratchet. Very similar in stature.

 

Brawn would be a good fit imo. Unfortunately, he's not popular enough so I can see it being Ironhide or Kup since both were portrayed as drill sergeants to some degree in various continuities.

There haven't actually been any Star Wars releases in specifically the recent Collaborative line (2018-onward), most of the Star Wars crossover figures were in the older Star Wars Transformers and Transformers Crossovers lines from like 2006-2011, with the 2018 Takara-made Darth Vader/TIE Advanced and Chewie & Han/Millennium Falcon also being unrelated to the Collaborative line.

Tbf, these are new completely new molds with new engineering cause they're trying to make them as accurate for the joe fans as possible.

All the other crossovers except for Maverick & JP93 lift the engineering whole-cloth from other figures.

 

They also managed to incorporate the vehicle design into the figures, and didn't just slap them onto the back and sides. Even X-Spanse, a figure sharing a couple of parts with Jetfire, managed to make a robot mode that wasn't as bad as the G.I. Joe figures. It's understandable that the figure needs to be a competent vehicle, but if it needs to be a robot as well, it shouldn't be so bad as to be almost insulting to one half of the target audience.

 

Meh. The people you're talking about also get insulted when someone's fists or eyes are the wrong color.
