Ya know, I wouldn't have mind if they did like a true to robot mode core class BeeBeak and just gave it a crappy made up alt mode like they did with BB Soundwave, but good lord this just looks like a 2011 cyberverse mold. Heck it probably is.

i dont know whats funnier the fact this figure is already starting arguement or the fact that some of the people complaining about the look of the figure are not even into bayverse or the figures to begin with

 

And some found them to be grotesquely offensive! And some also found humor in their blatant offensive racism...which Paramount had to issue a public statement & apologize for their portrayal, now why would Hasbro make figures of characters that Paramount wouldn't even greenlight for a 3rd movie & even went out of their way to pull them from any future story telling?!

nowadays i do find their portrayal to be a bit distasteful but when i was kid i just saw 2 funny robots doing whacky stuff and thought it was funny. i also was just learning english back then so i didnt even understand what they were saying most of the time. they are badly aged characters but they were still a big part of the movie and had a lot of toys

 

Imagine if they did a core DotM Laserbeak that turned into a printer that would fit into BB Soundwave's chest.

You would be correct, like many others that Paramount had to issue a public apology to, I definitely find them to be offensive, and I also understand why they are offensive! And anyone who understands why they are offensive, will also understand why Hasbro will not touch them. And anyone who wants to see them get made clearly doesn't understand or dosen't care to understand why and how they are offensive. But that's the world we live in & exactly why Hasbro will not touch them.

 

I don’t understand why people specifically talk about the Twins being offensive when you have the Wreckers, Drift, etc. who are all equally overly exaggerated stereotypes in the films.
