Treat this as a rumor for now, but a well-founded one.

I was speaking to the staff at the Hasbro booth after the Hasbro product reveal panel on the Saturday and I asked them why we'd not seen a Generations or a Power Battlers Stinger. Their response was:

"We've got some store exclusive releases lined up for Stinger with Wal-Mart, we should be able to show more at the Comic Con"

While it's not a concrete confirmation that the Generations AoE Stinger is going to Wal-Mart, it would explain why we've not seen a whole lot of him in advance retailer listings for the AoE Gennys yet.

I can understand if they're talking about the Knockout and Sideways repaints of Stinger for Wal Mart but if they're going to make the Stinger Generations toy an exclusive to Wal Mart it's going to make fans angry.

Well, if it is going to happen, I guess Walmart is better than TRU physical location wise for most people.

Who are the Cyberverse figures exclusive to? There were a few Stingers included in those.

Hopefully it won't make a difference here in the UK seeing as the Generations Deluxes and Voyagers are apparently all TRU exclusives...

Interesting. Was wondering why we didn't see anything at Botcon.

As others have mentioned, I wouldn't be surprised if the rep was talking about the cyberverse repaints.

I would be really surprised if there was an exclusive Generations deluxe figure unless it was a repaint.

Not sure what to think here. Does this mean that other countries will have to spend twice as much for shipping. IF there are any Stingers up for grabs.

This isn't really a rumor when we've already had confirmation from the Transformers Facebook page of four different Stinger toys being exclusive to Walmart.
    -Legion Class
    -Scout Class w/ Slug
-VS Pack with Bee and Strafe
-Constructabots Rider Giftset with Bee and Strafe

The one-step was revealed at Toy Fair, but nothing store specific was mentioned (though I did find it odd it wasn't in Wave 3 or 4 of Hasbro's presentations, unless if they're holding some back for SDCC), and there's a Generations Deluxe listed in that database leak.

But I have a feeling it not just Stinger that they are holding back for SDCC. I would not be surprised if we get a new store exclusive Ratchet of some kind and a few other off screen characters too.

Ah, I was wondering why One-Step Stinger had never materialised after being revealed at Toy Fair, and why the leaked Deluxe was absent from the BotCon reveals.

There wasn't one in the leak, but a Stinger Power Battler would also make that line up to the 15 toys we were told at Toy Fair there would be.

Don't see it that way at all. I don't see it as an issue where (like with Dino) Hasbro doesn't have the licensing rights to the vehicle. They are just making the character/figure specific to a certain retailer.

Isn't the new Bumblebee a Stinger repaint anyway? As long as they make a new head I'm down with that.

So there is hope of a deluxe Stinger right? One which turns into a Pagani and back? One that is not hopefully a full AOE Bee repaint with a different head mold?......so hope right?
